I love this part in the game. The rapid button mashing is a little hard but once you figure it out it is like taking candy froma baby
in the anime ultimate shenron is way bigger than that

@KyuubiMinato i haven't got there yet but LMAO that is the best story coverage for GT ever haha!! i never really cared for GT because imo i though it was pretty bad. but it was always nice to see the chars from there turn up in other DBZ games....years ago...you missed out the great ape, baby and ultimate shenron from hero mode. they were fun but to get to the QTE sections you had to do exactly the same thing.
@KyuubiMinato you've played it!? i'm jealous haha. it looks great! with a bit of extra work to the combos (from what i've seen it's somewhat limited) it could be THE Dbz game to have. it does look like fun! i really want to play it :(
Who else thinks the attack where he charges at you in the second phase of the fight looks and sounds just like the Dragon Fist?
It's probably a reused sound
if it's your first time then it'll give you a cutscene. if you do it again you just get a small amount of exp and then puts you back on the world map
if you memorise the attack they go for during the QTE part of a fight they will generally go for that selection throughout most of the fight ^^ it makes it a lot easier. hope this makes sense? haha good luck
@NeoShadowReaper go to red and just play around with the saturation and brightness/darkness :) have the saturation quite high and have it quite dark. hope this helps a bit haha
Most of the soundtrack sounds good, but I just wish they'd put more music that actually fits the mood. This happy go lucky music plays while fighting the last boss aka Ultimate Shenron. It feels more like DB Kai than DBZ.
@sonex1203 they're leaving it 'open/vague' for a sequel, if this game gets one...but i heard that this was Spike's last game, but possibly not. I could be wrong
@SmittyTheWorld i too was quite surprised by how fast they actually wanted the gamer to hit the buttons :|
@EthanSL1 Ultimate shenron is the shenron that comes from the black starred dragon balls in GT whereas shenron comes from the ordinary dragon balls. watch GT for more info though

@MrBlackatheist this was Spike's last DBZ game Cyber Connect 2 are making them from now on. hopefully they can do DBZ proud like they have with Naruto (sorta, Storm 2 was just a spamfest, Storm 1 was great though)
@BulletinXRights i heard that there was going to be dlc for ss2 and ss3, whether it was true though...i have no idea. as of right now though, only ssj :)
@AJOMGTV yeah, he was hard as hell! you can be cheap though, the cpu usually picks the same choice throughout the quick time event scenario bit so if you can predict it enough then it can be very one sided :) good luck

@ssj5goten01 ah well after you complete hero mode all previous main event battles open back up so you can replay through it. you can also carry on training under the new masters you get (Vegeto, Gogeta and Janemba) other than that though just grind until your char has max stats (: not sure about main story mode though

@superdanny13100 standard type, evil voice and you get to play with him as soon as you make him :) you can also use them online ranked or unranked
@ssj5goten01 i dont understand what you mean 'from all the dragons' xD i haven't completed the main story yet as i'm doing a playthrough of it when you unlock everything though i think you get a trophy/achievement and that's it really. i dunno :S
@pidgey29999 agreed, I was really interested in it and didn't think it would be all that good from what i saw, i gave it the benefit of the doubt though, glad i did. it's great
@zerothelightningnin yeah your clothes are a diff style though and your hair is bardocks. the colours are similar though :)
@AJOMGTV agreed, it must have taken me about 6 or 7 tries to do it. and you cant skip cutscenes [not that i remember, it's been a while since i've played]
@OathkeeperSoraXIII i have some questions is your character heavy or standarad what voice do u have and do u get to play in verus as your character after u complete hero mode
@cheese123150 this is the very end of hero mode. it allows you to re-play through it again though and do all the story event battles again though. I'm also doing a main story let's play on my channel so be sure to check it out :)

@OathkeeperSoraXIII Was lucky enough to go to Japan this September and spent an entire morning (and a lot of 100yen coins) on it lol.
It only has 1 ground combo and 1 air combo but the way it plays out with how you can tag team oponents and play around with it is awesome. Much more based on having fun playing than making it too complicated, for sure. (Has 0 Super Saiyans...and i didn't really feel like the game needed them lol)
And the characters RUN on the ground for once lol
Little does he know, the earth's just gonna blow up in a year anyway
@ssj5goten01 i was never really too fussed about them leaving out characters. I've been a fan of dragonball since it started on tv when i was about 4 lmao. just depends if you want to try it out or not. watch some of my Let's play parts, and see what you think :) the story mode & boss battes is mainly what i got the game for

@edben109 you can replay any battle from hero mode
it's okay if you play it in short bursts. because it can still feel fresh but if you play it for a long time, say a couple hours a day you will get bored fast :)
If they make another one hopefully they continue this story with a new villain

@OathkeeperSoraXIII Zenkai Battle Royal is probably the most genuine fun i've had with a Dragon Ball Z game since Super Dragon Ball Z. I really hope they port that one to home consoles as well (because otherwise i won't be able to play it again lol)
my bad sum other have videos of the hero mode final battles and they had been playing it for sum time and i just wanted to know what happenes after u beat the game
@AJOMGTV Lol . i got a techniqe called Trolling . But u need a Character type who has the ability to Have the blast being multiplied , like gogeta when you hold Y at blast range it will hit . First example , Get to Blast range then Levitate till the highest point . den fly infront Untill you cant move to the front again , dont lower urself in air . Den make sure you cant shoot him by pressing X non-stop shooting blasts and he cant do it to u too . Den just hold Y and let the troll begin!

@Themightyvegeta101 it would be very conveniant that my username is Sora and this character is called Sora...to answer your question though, no. there is a custom character creator in UT. i just named mine Sora that's all :)
@MarkHenryEsparza24 it's good, its not amazing though. visuals are amazing. story is okay- playable at least. and the combat is repetitive but still fun, and you can also create your own character (obv) its worth a buy but maybe pre-owned or just rent it. it's not worth the full price :) hope this helps

they should have played the ending credits soundtrack in this, it's got that more 'rock' dbz style to it then this...tbh I never really paid attention to the song played here haha but you're right

Problem: Now that the Black Star Dragon Balls have been used, he has 1 year to get them back from across the universe...or Earth will be destroyed.
Like many other things, the developers just did not care.
couldn't he have just asked if he was stronger than all that negative energy that was created from omega shenron and if yes couldn't he then become the new guardian then wished for everything to go back to the way it was before?

@bkillzone super saiyan 4 probably no in hero mode but yes on goku and vegeta supersaiyan 4 can only be used my pure!! saiyans so it never really clarifies if he is a pure saiyan or half
But there is not ss4 gogeta master so how do you get it and super sayain 3
because I didn't want to remove the scouter, if i didn't want it I wouldn't have it would I? derp :P
@KyuubiMinato advanced adventure was amazing for a GBA game, the DS dragon ball games i thought were garbage compared to that. it would be great to see one of them with the kinda physics engine and graphics this gen of console can perform. i agree. what i do like the look of is dragon ball z: zenkai battle royal. THAT is how this game should have been, only updated of course

@KyuubiMinato that's what i like about it, you cab to the tag teams on enemies and you can run and there's actual ground combat. how is it possible that a developer such as spike who has been dev. dbz games for years and years gets it wrong almost every time whereas this dbz arcade game get's it right straight away (not sure who developed the arcade game) like i said though spike don't listen to fans. and also like you said...good riddance

@KyuubiMinato they cared to a point, character wise, no, character creation was okay, world map on story didn't really serve much purpose other than to go from point a - b unless you wanted to get the Dragon Balls. oh well this was Spike's last game, Cyber Connect 2 are getting the rights to Dragon Ball games now i think

I wish they would get the rights...but they won't. They have too much on their hands, between the Naruto franchise, Asura's Wrath and other titles they've been working on...
@KyuubiMinato @KyuubiMinato i have to agree with you, I thought they had a great concept for story mode but the execution was terrible for one instance in the namek saga you have a cutscene, then switch to a fight with jeice and goku, 1 HIT INTO IT i'm back into another cutscene and there was extremely long loading times for what the game was. the game was slightly better than i thought. because they had great ideas but the whole directing of story mode was terrible -_-
