I like the mats smaller less room for people to run and with the fighters on top of each other makes its exciting. With Cobra losing in this it could be a pre-qualify for rankings in the tournament of 16 teams. Theres is a lot of events in this tournament and I'm sure by the end of part 2 we will be down to 8 teams going into part 3 mid next year.
Yoon was getting replaced by kwon as the top student lol. They never implied we weren’t going to see him anymore he was still the top student before kwon which would make him number 2 you pick your 6 best for the tournament, why would he not be here? As far as kwons 540 just because we’ve seen it before didn’t mean we weren’t going to again, brandon is a real life taekwondo champ and loves 540’s they look beautiful in choreography and kwon likes to go straight for the head to end his fights quickly. The stage look is completely subjective so if it’s underwhelming to you fair enough but this show does not have the budget that 2010 film had it was never going to be as big as that.
The purpose of showing cobra kai losing is so they can establish that the sekai is on another level. Cobra kai and miyagi do ain't just gonna walk up in there and dominate everyone like they did in the all valley
