I'm new back to the expansion. just got done with getting the legendary cape.. n its like, do this raid! I check what the deal is - this is madness! no one gonna have the patience to guide me through such a complex and ever on a knife edge at any particular point. Where should I be starting raid wise in the expansion?
Could someone tell me what the tanks addon is? The one that sits above the target frame. It's basically like DBM/BigWigs but in the form of WeakAura's!
Went in a raid of 30 tanks on heroic, everyone had: Wardens, Twilights, Anima main slotted, Searing Flames, Echoing Void, and druids had Devour Vitality... we one shot every boss we were doing, even downed Xanesh... up until the raid decided to go full retard and skip straight to Carapace and N'zoth instead of full clearing... downed Carapace... COULD NOT CLEAR N'ZOTH!!! Turns out only 1/3 of those tanks, myself included, actually downed him in lower difficulties...

I know this is a bit late but what addon do you use to mark? Pulls up a radial menu with the icons, i saw it was used for world marker in tomb on KJ and just never bothered asking. Super curious now what it is though.
Currently curve achiv is BUGGED n'zoth encounter ends in 2% , but sometimes u will get the loot and the mount , but u wont get the curve , write a ticket to blizz they must fix this asap
Awesome Guide, as always! But if the World First Race is stuck on this Boss, it will be horrible to watch and to cast for the present Casters. It looks kinda boring. Having so many similar Phases in one Fight makes it somewhat monotonous...
So when are they going cover shadowlands alpha dungeons? Like they always do? They are open for alpha testing. Did they not get access to alpha this time or something? Nothing from them in months. Mythic guides? Alpha dungeons testing? Laps around Dalaran? I love when they test alpha dungeons. They give me a fun and interesting dive into the upcoming dungeons. The bosses, boss mechanics , the trash mobs mechanics. I have always looked forward to seeing them covering new dungeons. I love their content and it sucks that they’re not covering anything in alpha. Plz come back.
LFR is by far the difficult version. Most people leave instead of learning. Normal is kind of in the middle ground. Heroic is in a catch 22 limbo and tends to be a shining example of how selfish the majority of the community is. Finding a group without AOTC requirements is like winning the lottery. You get lucky sometimes, but don't get your hopes up. The ilvl requirements people ask for each patch go up while the raid difficulty stays the same. Mythic is a bit more strict, but at least it's understandably so. Easiest if you're in a guild or know some people. If you really need a N'zoth kill, there's always the option of paying nearly $100 to someone that profits off carrying people for a living. I like wow, but the raiding community just depresses me sometimes lol. I guess I'll just have to help who I can if no one else is.
So...Yogg'Saron + the Lich King with a touch of Valithria Dreamwalker and the one boss fight where you have to keep your light up and not let everything go dark (I think it was the End Time's fight against Tyrande) and featuring the addition of some eye LAIZERS. Yogg'Saron's sanity mechanic along with its tentacles are brought back. The Lich King's Defile ability is reintroduced. You get a mix between the two with how the big bad add is used in regards to being a raid wipe threat, but more or less uses sanity as its main tool to do so. The plane shift to deal with adds is reminiscent of the fight to save Valithria Dreamwalker, the Green Dragon in the Icecrown Citadel raid that you save right before going to fight Sindragosa. And your sanity is addressed with a secondary button that you can just click and be good for a while. Aside from the LAIZERS, which is starting to get old, the only original mechanic I can see here is the one where you slowly get dragged in one direction or another. This whole fight really is quite a let-down.
I think people should stop talking about how mechanics are similar to some from boss fights from previous raids. Its really hard to make an entirely new unique mechanic, so what they are going for is different combinations, for example, what you mentioned. The majority of boss mechanics are similar and it will not change. People act like blizzard is lazy when creating boss fights, " reusing mechanics" but I bet no1 can actually have an idea about an entirely unique mechanic. Atleast they are trying and thet do a good job on the boss fights Im not saying you are wrong if you find the fight boring cause that's really you opinion, but on the other side it might seem boring cause really, just think about how many boss fights and mechanics you have dealt with all these years. We pretty much seen anything. Personally I find it an ok fight but for sure cannot be compared to other final bosses like Garrosh Jaina Argus Lei Shen etc

@@razien9941 here's an idea for a boss mechanic nzoth sends half the raid into delirium realm which lies beneath the regular realm. the ground is see through due to a debuff called shadowy visions where u can see into the regular realm and witness the rest of your raid on top however regular realm cannot see into delirium realm. while in delirium your character is upside down with your feet teathered to the ceiling. In this phase you'd have to play upsidedown and you would then be targeted with pools that wherever u stepped leaves puddles on the ground in the regular realm and the regular realm players get targeted with puddles that delirium players are effected by. Since regular realm people cannot see delirium players coordination is needed not to drop pools onto raid members. Sanity drains super quickly and pools drains it quicker so you have to use your cloak to cleanse you and pull you into the regular realm at the same time regular realms heart of azeroth is over powering due to anchor points so you actually have to apply corruption to it in order for you to not die meaning you have to bargain with nzoth to send you to the delirium realm and each time a player swap happens tanks take 10% extra damage this would be brand new mechanic needing extreme raid coordnation and would be fun to play. Just thought of this in 5 minutes while taking a shit

@@KC-py5vq I think that's kinda the point, N'zoth has been called the weakest of his kind many, many times. His power has always come from his minions. Not that I like it, it feels really bad to kill a major lore villain this way, but it's honestly kinda in-character for him to just kinda fall over once you've gotten through his minions.
What exactly was fun about argus.... He was much easier in all fairness. This guy is actually brutal and on mythic when you can't move as much I see people being stuck and guilds disbanding over this guy much more than argus. Is the fight fun. I find it interesting. Argus you had more stuff to do but they were much more trivial. Yeah first phase you did get buffs and moving accross the room which was a wash. Second phase bombs were an ok mechanic but much more simple than the sanity one. The add phase on heroic was just boring and finally the burn phase was meh mythic was much better but I find this boss to be much much harder.
Julian even the “weakest” old god is far stronger and powerful than anything on Azeroth. We should’ve had more to do in that fight when it comes to actually facing him. His minions should just be a plus, not the entire fight

Ikr. I miss WOTLK when Yogg'Saron got a full fleshed cutscene and an expansion of his own! Oh and Classic, I really loved C'thuns cinematic as well as the entire expansion revolving around him.
@@Etat7 Not talking about Nzoth scrub..Read into the lore behind the depth of Ny'Alotha and the old gods. It basicly stands alone, It had atleast more depth to offer than Dreanor or pandaland. Would have fit perfectly in Shadowlands.
Gotta say this after watching many of your videos over the years: 1. Subtitle your videos. Subtitling is very easy to do nowadays. 2. Get rid of all the screen clutter so we can see the fight better. 3. Get someone with a very easy to understand voice to voice these videos.

It's boring compared to other end tier fights. It can't really hold up with fights like Illidan (I know he wasn't really the endboss of TBC, but the main course), Lichking or Garrosh. The last fight of the expansion should be epic.

We had to have at least one tough fight in this raid. This and vex seems to be the real stressors.

Looks like ElvUI to me, at least the raid frames. You can customize it to be pretty much however you want, so I'm not 100% sure.
Answer as always is some kind of premade CrapUI weather it is Tuk or Elv or whatever. Looking pretty is all it does.

I stopped after LK. Agree 100%. It was a good decision. I just enjoy seeing what the devs come up with overall.

Sanity drains super quickly and pools drains it quicker so you have to use your cloak to cleanse you and pull you into the regular realm at the same time regular realms heart of azeroth is over powering due to anchor points so you actually have to apply corruption to it in order for you to not die meaning you have to bargain with nzoth to send you to the delirium realm and each time a player swap happens tanks take 10% extra damage this would be brand new mechanic needing extreme raid coordnation and would be fun to play. Just thought of this in 5 minutes while taking a shit

@@KC-py5vq I think that's kinda the point, N'zoth has been called the weakest of his kind many, many times. His power has always come from his minions. Not that I like it, it feels really bad to kill a major lore villain this way, but it's honestly kinda in-character for him to just kinda fall over once you've gotten through his minions.
What exactly was fun about argus.... He was much easier in all fairness. This guy is actually brutal and on mythic when you can't move as much I see people being stuck and guilds disbanding over this guy much more than argus. Is the fight fun. I find it interesting. Argus you had more stuff to do but they were much more trivial. Yeah first phase you did get buffs and moving accross the room which was a wash. Second phase bombs were an ok mechanic but much more simple than the sanity one. The add phase on heroic was just boring and finally the burn phase was meh mythic was much better but I find this boss to be much much harder.
Julian even the “weakest” old god is far stronger and powerful than anything on Azeroth. We should’ve had more to do in that fight when it comes to actually facing him. His minions should just be a plus, not the entire fight

Ikr. I miss WOTLK when Yogg'Saron got a full fleshed cutscene and an expansion of his own! Oh and Classic, I really loved C'thuns cinematic as well as the entire expansion revolving around him.
@@Etat7 Not talking about Nzoth scrub..Read into the lore behind the depth of Ny'Alotha and the old gods. It basicly stands alone, It had atleast more depth to offer than Dreanor or pandaland. Would have fit perfectly in Shadowlands.

Gotta say this after watching many of your videos over the years:
1. Subtitle your videos. Subtitling is very easy to do nowadays.
2. Get rid of all the screen clutter so we can see the fight better.
3. Get someone with a very easy to understand voice to voice these videos.
Those are terrible points.
1. They already speak English, no subtitles needed.
2. Fight is already easy to follow.
3. They've had that since day 1.

It's just ok
It's boring compared to other end tier fights. It can't really hold up with fights like Illidan (I know he wasn't really the endboss of TBC, but the main course), Lichking or Garrosh. The last fight of the expansion should be epic.
@@Schilani Argus was a fucking good boss too. This one yeah, feels rushed. The arena is really bland, thought the mechanics are quite tight.
