Hotel Tavinos Asakusa | My Favorite 3-Star Hotel in Tokyo !

- Asakusa is one of the most popular tourists areas in Tokyo, Japan. Recently I stayed in the Hotel Tavinos Asakusa over there and it becomes my favorite 3-star hotel in Tokyo! Here is my honest review of this hotel. Below is the office description when they picked the name Tarvinos.
“Hotel Tavinos is a hotel chain for the active global traveler centered on the goal of providing a space (nos) from which travelers can enjoy their journey (tavi) around Japan. The spatial design takes manga, the artform that has come to symbolize Japanese culture, as its motif.”

For early check-in and late check-out, you need to tell the front desk staff. You can’t do it by yourself on the kiosk. There is a bell on the front desk. Just press it and the front desk staff will pop out from their hiding place.

Take the train and get off at Asakusa station. It’s about US$9. No need to transfer. Then walk from the station. It’s about 10 minutes walk.

Very close to this hotel there is a strip club called Rockza. I highly recommend it even if you are a lady. Japanese strip is unique. It’s like a Broadway show.
5 days is kind of too much for Tokyo. At least spend 1 day in Yokohama.

Any room number and level recommendations?
I am a light sleeper. So I usually choose the highest floor with the room as far from the elevators as possible. But in terms of rooms, they are pretty much all identical in this hotel.

Yes. You can check in after midnight in this hotel. You can use the kiosk to check in. If you need help, you can ring the bell at the front desk and someone will pop out from the closet room.
