donghun did such a right thing with higher performing - he wrecked many people he's just so beautiful, sometimes i wanna all being at his feet i'm always ready to talk about him and his handsomness i'm that girl who's late and keeps it up so- just gonna be thankful again and writing smth silly but cute hehe ♡

oh gosh, I haven't heard HIgher for a long while (most of their songs tbh cuz I try to avoid their songs cuz I literally miss them so much i cry sometimes lol) And yes! Donghun with that long hair in higher era was definitely serving. I remember so many choices including me got wrecked so bad because of that lmao. I miss those days😭 Good thing 4 members are coming back this year but my bias will be coming back in feb next year so it's still a long way for me to suffer😭 Also I just wanna say that it's very impressive how you're learning their names so fast when you haven't even reacted to a lof of their personal stuffs like guides or reality shows. I know there are only 5 of them so it's much easier to remember their names but you've only seen their mv's, dance practices and live performances and not a lot of people can learn so much from watching those cuz most people learn from watching reality shows or crack videos lol so It's really impressive. And I totally agree with you about dancing in costumes with all those accessories, although I wouldn't really call myself a dancer because I never actually learned the technical stuffs but I do dance a lot and I'm part of our school's dance team so we perform a lot in our school events and we also sometimes compete and those accessories are the most annoying for me especially the necklace. Like literally I would just jump and the necklace would hit my face lol, and the earings would also tangle with my hair a lot of times and it affects the performances so much. Even A.C.E members specifically Byeongkwan have mentioned how many accessories he breaks in one performance. There was one time in After school club when they were a guest and they just finished dancing, then one of the fans asked if they break some stuffs when they perform on stage and Byeongkwan showed how he literally just broke his necklace lmao.
Donghun definitely had me this cb, I think since I have the album now I might just finish it off by doing a whole album reaction 😂 I did hear that Jun is coming back sooner than planned and that Choice was really worried about him because he’s at the border?? That’s literally so scary 😳 I try so hard! Because also it’s just easier for me to call them out by name during the dance practices! I hate saying “this one” or “that one” 😂 Accessories and clothes that just weren’t meant for physical activity are the worst! I remember one time I was performing and had knee leggings on and because of the constant movement my one legging slipped off and I was so close to slipping and falling because of it 🙄 so I’m not surprised their necklaces and stuff break because they have very hardcore choreo lmao

Thank you for another great A.C.E reaction! The storylines in Goblin and Higher are connected somehow but we as a fandom haven't figured out how. In the Higher MV, the main story is about a siren/mermaid who is in love with a human and pines for them, wanting to come up to the surface to be with them (which is where the "I'm going higher" ties in.) And in the last chorus, they do make it to the surface in the MV but the feel at the end isn't happy, so I don't think they get united with their loved one. There are a lot of things going on in the Higher MV storywise, like the moon and the breaking of the mirror. But let me point out some things that are connected to the Goblin MV. The Siren:Dawn album comes in three versions, Sun, Eclipse, and Moon. Each version has different concept photos. In the Siren:Dawn trailer (I don't know if you've seen it), it's implied that something happens during the eclipse. In the Director's Cut Goblin MV, there are flashes of moon phases and an eclipse (and it's associated with Chan) and in the Siren:Dawn trailer, it is again Chan who seems to be the central character in the eclipse story. And in the MV, Chan is seen swallowing the miniature moon and holding the miniature eclipsed moon in his mouth. I don't know if anyone's figured everything out, but I haven't come across a theory that makes perfect sense yet. Everything is still a mystery. 😅 There is the possibility that them being sirens is just a metaphor for what they actually are (which will be revealed later). Not that anyone has suggeted that, but you never know. I really recommend looking at all the Siren:Dawn concept photos. They are story relevant and gorgeous as heck. In Higher, there is a line about a red string of fate and in the underwater concept photos for the Goblin album (HJZM Butterfly Phantasy) Jun and Chan are shown connected with a red rope. I think the the Favorite Boys explanation video, he said that they were twins, which they are. Iirc, they are twins from different dimensions. So that's another connection. I'm probably forgetting something, but I'll move on to the choreography now. Both the Goblin and Higher choreography have story elements. A lot of the Higher choreo perfectly reflects the lyrics, like when Chan is singing about love reflecting in the water, everyone squats down, and it looks like they're stroking the surface of a lake. And when Jun is singing about dancing alone in the moonlight, everyone else becomes a ball, and Jun really is dancing alone. (A fun bit of trivia: Jun used to be called the moonlight dancer of Suncheon- where he's from, though I'm not entirely sure the place name is right.) There are a lot of waves which goes with them being sirens underwater. I really like how they did their own choreo with so much thought. In the beginning of the Goblin choreo, the dancers are coming out of a gourd which is connected to some famous story about dokkaebi and in one part, they move their arms like goblin fire. The Fav Boyz MV has them as goblins in a post apocalyptic world where they are trying to revive civilization which is implied by them working in a lab, looking at a dead flower in a glass case and looking at what I'm guessing are magic seeds and a hologram of a healthy flower. (I'm sure the story universe meaning is something entirely different LOL) But there is a recurring theme of flowers in their MVs and in some of their concept photos. If I remember something that I forgot to mention here, I'll tell you later. :)
Okay, I honestly struggle with group lore 😂 so we shall see how this goes in the future haha but I was correct in saying it seemed like a non-human being was in love with the human?? I just didn’t pick up on the mermaid theme 🤔 I can see the correlation with the little mermaid now which the original fairytale also does not have a happy ending so makes sense! I think I need to go straight into a whole Siren:Dawn album review to be honest with the trailer included. Maybe it’ll make a little more sense to me 😂 I feel like there’s just too much going on. It seems like they’re switching fairytales? Very interesting. Also now that you say that, they really did have a lot of choreo connecting with water and waves lol I’m intrigued by the futuristic storyline as well in the apocalyptic world. My favorite is the “Intro:Escape” one for “Savage” since it so nicely ties in with the “Undercover” music video. That one involved them fighting zombies(?) which kinda ties in with their Zombie dance video which I think they said was the first one involving their lore (even though it’s a dance cover). I’m a bit confused how the later inter dimension travel stuff fits in with all that though. I try not to think that hard about groups’ lore since they just gives me a headache. 😂

I honestly consider my YT part of my stress relief, just taking a break from everything and watching these groups and how talented they are 😊 it can be a lot sometimes though! Yea I feel like I am not understanding their lore at all 😂 I guess this whole album is supposed to be mermaid themed?? @@ToniReacts I was originally so happy about aespa’s lore since I thought we were finally getting a clear lore, but then I found out all those other SM groups are also part of this Kwangya thing and I just… 😩 I refuse to devote any more brain space to it. The only thing I can think of regarding A.C.E is that “Intro:Escape” is them literally escaping that zombie dimension into another one not involving zombies since I don’t think it has come up since. Other than that, though 🤷🏻♀️
