@@rohankai713 it's like when you mix mud and water, mud will still be visible while you can't see the water. It means, neither of Sakura and Hyewon sing louder than one of them. The term cancel that they're using here means one out sing the other. I know you get it, you're welcome.

first, select the audio, then go to effects → invert !! it's pretty easy 🤙🏼

No, I'm actually gonna start making CCL videos on another channel! I'm having a little trouble figuring out some ad-libs, so I'm trying to figure out how to filter one chorus into another to isolate the ad-libs!

yess! for example: for merry-go-round, i combined the 1st and 2nd pre-chorus and then inverted the 2nd pre-chorus only!
and to isolate ad-libs you gotta do the same process; align the chorus with ad-libs with a chorus with out them (example, 1st & last chorus) and then invert one chorus. remember that both choruses have to be exactly the same, same lyrics & singer

@@eno2165 oh i meant in the soundtrack because the chorus of ssots and others sound different, and very enjoyable!
@@starryyoonsubs358 they used a cancelling technique which inverts the sound waves of one of the tracks and then you cut out the same parts (eg chorus) and those that are the same will cancel each other out, creating no sound. The waves that are different are now isolated. hope it helped
