I like that you went back a few minutes later so you have an idea of each fragrance after the drydown. Gives me the impression that you are pretty systematic in this.
I have the EDT. Wore it today (4/26/24) and received compliments all day. I walked outside nd when I opened the door a gush of wind came inside. The people behind me screamed "OMG that is an amazing fragrance. What's the name of it"... As a proud gatekeeper I dnt tell people what I'm wearing... thats another story but yes. Highly complimented.
The EDT is good enough for me, once you get passed the lemon It is totally fine.
@@ian7133 I find the lemon smell is less harsh after the maceration process. I purchased my current bottle 2 years ago. I hated the first about 30-45 min of the scent. When I wear it now I love it from start to finish

So glad you’re saying this because I’ve been gaslit to think that cdnim was the end all be all and I was like each one of the bottles smell the same and you were sooo honest with this review thank you
I have the edt. It's my most complimented fragrance. I don't put too much stock in the opening because that's only about 15-30 minutes. By the time you get where you're going, it's passed that phase. I find 3 sprays does me well.
What batch is it?
This is an interesting video, thank you for making it. I remember vintage Aventus (pre-2013) having a very sharp bergamot tempered with only a hint of apple and pineapple, and drying down to the smell of paper money, like sticking my nose in a wad of bills. Literally. That strange, slightly papery, slightly inky, slightly dirty smell. And quite loud. So your description of all the apple in Aventus suggests it's a recent version where they increased that note dramatically over what Aventus used to smell like. Generally from what I've read online, Armaf tried to clone earlier batches of this particular Creed, so it's difficult to compare CDNIM in any concentration to current stuff. Your description of the Limited Edition parfum formula seems closest to what I remember Aventus being like.

Subbed! Such an honest comparison. I agree 100%. I have the Pure Parfum. Didn’t like the lemon note, and it stays on for an hour. I do like the drydown but the opening is terrible. I caved in and bought the CDNIM concentrated oil which is straight up oil. It is apparently the best version. Guess what? It’s the same. The same lemon that stays on for an hour before it gets to the good part. What a waste of money. I only use it if I’m going grocery shopping or any other mundane task which requires an hour of driving involved with me alone in the car cause I can’t let anyone else smell it for the first hour.
The undeniable truth is that all of them are similar.... Edt is a monster but it comes at a cost which is it's little bit harsh opening.... Edp and Pp lasts longer but sillage isn't as good as Edt... Limited edition is slightly different on top of that less harsh opening but again sillage isn't as good as the Edt.... I feel like Pp is the sweet spot because it's better than Edp and the opening is less harsh but the main point is the price... It's similar to the Edt ( i know it's higher but you're getting 150ml instead of 105ml)....
I was confused about Limited Edition and Pure Parfum. I have collected that the Pure Parfum has better longevity. Going to go with Pure Parfum

I got the pure perfume but haven't opened it as yet. Will most probably try it in the coming week

@@pacmancalgary oh sorry my bad - the Pure Perfume is the best. Love the projection and the longevity. Honestly, it has a little more kick to it, I personally prefer the opening over the EDT.
What is the best one to get?
For what I've read LE and Pure Parfum are exactly the same juice. Armaf acknowledged it themselves. Limited Edition is just a beatifully packaged Pure Parfum that you can give somebody as a gift. So if you buy it for yourself I wouldn't advise to pay a over 50% more just for the nice package. unless you enjoy flashy bottles enough to justify the price.
@@krzysium123 Mam oba. PP projektuje bardziej zepsutą cytryną, LE bardziej piżmo. Nie są to jakieś drastyczne różnice, ale legenda, że to te same soki jest imo nieprawdziwa. Mam te zapachy od ponad miesiąca (kupione w tym samym czasie), więc mogą się jeszcze zmienić (dojrzeć) więc za kilka tygodni będę mógł więcej o nich powiedzieć.

I have the LE, on the dry down, I found that leather scent you mentioned that smelled interesting and never noticed in the edt.

I have both right now, as we speak.
I've tried them all, and wasn't happy with a true creed dna until I got my Al Haramain l'aventure Intense.
Which one too buy EDT or Pure Parfum?
Pure Parfum has a toned down sweeter opening.
I have the OG formulation of the EDT with the silver sprayer which I think went bad over the years, I also have the limited edition which is amazing and a heavy compliment puller .

My edt changed over time now after a year it's quiet good.
I remember when it arrived it smelled like this citrus stones in pisuars and public toilets 😅
i have it too and when i first got it it smelled like expired lemons but i feel like the longer you have it the better it gets and shaking it might also help as well cause sometimes i shake mine before putting it on
On the test strip they all smell terrible, on the cuffs of my jumper the EDT smells better than the limited edition parfum, on the front of my jumper the limit edition smells really nice, from memory the EDT on the front wasn't as good.. so confusing lol I feel like sometimes all I smell is a cheap wood smell with cdnim edt and then other times I get a more crisp aventus like smell, it's like it changes every time.. like I don't get why it's smelling so nice on my jumper cuff right now, what is it doing my actual neeg
I have 3 of these don't remember which one I was wearing but was buying a Lysol lemon can and the dude at checkout was like man that Lysol is strong I can smell it right through the can lol 😅

i only have the limited edition pure parfum... and so far, I'm not diggin it at alllll 😂 i have to spray it on a good hour before i leave the house because it is soooo freakin strong. it gives me harsh shampoo vibes, like i poured an entire bottle of shampoo all over me. it's not a terrible smell, it's just unpleasantly aggressive to me.

i could probably mistaken, but i thought you also have MONT BLANC Explorer EDP in your possession.
If so, do a comparison between them WITH your husband.
To my knowledge, (for some - unknown - reason) women do like Explorer a lot.
Whereas men prefer CDNiM.
I swear I did as well, turns out I don’t have it!! Maybe we should smell them side by side, great idea. I can’t remember which one I prefer.

I was just about to suggest the mont blanc explorer. To me its waybmore refinded that CDIM. Defna short video on aventus and MBE would be nice

A lot of boring comparisons with Creed Aventus (yes, CDNIM has a very synthetic harsh lemony opening and not the crisp apple opening of CA, no need to repeat that 10 times) and no serious comparison between the different CDNIM versions, although that’s what this vid is supposed to be all about… right? Disappointing.

That is her opinion and the harsh opinion is a significant aspect of the CDNIM and worth reiterating so why are you getting all jittery? You did not have to watch. You are clearly a lover of CDNIM and you're triggered by someone truthfully highlighting a big negative of the fragrance. You chastising her as if you own her is far more boring, irritating and disappointing than anything she said in the video
@@gbej1what are you on about dude? I don’t “own” anybody but I was curious to know which differences there were between the different CDNIM versions, as promised in the title. And I didn’t get any genuine answers, other than: if you don’t like the Edt, you won’t like these either. Of course you won’t, they share the same DNA. FYI, the pure parfum is very close, if not exactly the same as the LTD ed. Both are smoother and longer lasting than the edt. They have a smokier drydown with more musk in the base. The edp is fruitier. All three have a less harsh opening than the Edt and the birch note is less prominent. I have this info from other fragrance influencers who did a great job really comparing the CDNIM versions. As to “you did not have to watch”, that’s quite a childish remark. I do like CDNIM but I am not “a lover”. Next time comment on the statement and not on the messenger.

Which is better between the parfum and EDP? I purchased the EDP but idk if the Parfum is worth the price difference
How good is the EDP? how long does it last and is the projection good?
@@lungelomzindle6641 so now that I’ve used it for a while.. I love it. Great projection. Great lasting power. At first it smelled like expired lemons to me but It literally went away after a day or 2. Plus the bottle is like 6.8 oz. It’s a steal
The Parfum has higher concentrate and last longer. That’s the difference, the EDP last about 10 hours and the Parfum last about 15 hours
I have club de nuit edp, I’m still not sure if I like it or not 🤔 I love Mont Blanc Explorer, wish it was a bit stronger thoe, might try layering them 🤷🏽
As a MBE owner I think its my fav but yeah it just smells so watered down, can bearly smell it on the fragarence cap when I open it to sniff
