- Timing of events can be the trickiest part of astrology especially using Vimshottari Dasha as it has a lot of factors to be considered for every event but again we have rasi based dashas to solve this puzzle in an easy manner. If you know the energy of signs then it is very easy to use Rashi-based dasha.
The Sanskrit term "Dasha" in Hindu astrology is used to indicate planetary periods. The planetary periods indicate when the good or bad effects are produced according to their placement by sign (Rasi), house (Bhava), combinations (Yogas or Raja Yogas), or aspects (Drishti). The Dasha Paddhati (system) of Directional Astrology is unique to the Hindus; it is found nowhere else. There are many kinds of Dasha systems, Parashara mentions forty-two of them, but of these only two are in vogue, namely, "Vimshottari" and "Ashtottari".

Each dasha is controlled by one of the nine planets, and the quality and relative benevolence of each period is determined by the condition and position of that planet in the natal chart. There are nine planets or grahas which severally rule the nine dashas: the seven classical planets, plus the north node, Rahu, and south node, Ketu, of the Moon.
There are at least 43 different dasha systems. "Dasha" is the major period of a planet. It is called the "Poorna Dasha" if the planet is the most powerful or is in its sign of exaltation, which dasha gives health and wealth; the dasha of a powerless planet is called the "Rikta dasha", "Rikta" means poor or devoid of any power. Varahamihira explains that the dasha of the planet occupying unfriendly sign and navamsa will produce Aristaphala i.e. undesirable or miserable results; the planet that has fallen from exaltation but is in friendly or exalted navamsa gives ordinary results, and the planet that is ascending from debilitation but is in debilitated or unfriendly navamsa, gives a worthless period.

I am in a Taurus Dasa. In the D1 chart, Taurus is the 8th rashi (thula lagna) and Jupiter and Mars are in Taurus.
In the D9 chart, Taurus falls in the 2nd house (mesha lagna) and Venus is placed in Taurus.
I am doing my master degree and I moved from another state in 2020.

You have explained in your earlier videos that any rashi which falls opposite to Scorpio the karakatwas comes easily and we do not have to strive for it so how come you are stating in this video that during the Dasha of Taurus if it is placed in the 8th house Jatak will lose money.
As a matter of fact I have gained the maximum during my Taurus rashi Dasha. There are no planets in my Taurus sign. I am Libra lagna male .

I am not trying to find faults but instead trying to understand as to what the respected astrologer has explained regarding gaining from the opposite house of the Scorpio sign,which seems to be contradicted in the present video. I am still confused.

The way you asked to see in Jagannath hora I saw charts of two people who got job. I noticed that either they got job in when their 10th rashi dasha was running or 4th rashi dasha was running according to D10 ( parivritti dasamsa ) chart. Sir, in my Rashi Chart my ASC is Pisces. 10th house is Moon conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius. Using Parivritti Chart on my D10 chart, my ASC is Scorpio. 10th house is Mercury in Leo. 10th house lord Sun is in the 9th house (Cancer).11th house is Saturn in Virgo. My AL and BB is together in the 12th house (Libra). 12th house lord (Venus) is in the 6th house which is altogether with Ketu and Rahu. What does it mean, Sir ? Sir, the very first few words i have decoded it .......Someone with libra in 7th house in D1 & that libra goes into 6th house in navamsha. Means person with lagna in Aries between 3.20 & 6.40, ashwini pada 2 the native will face disputes after marriage as the libra goes into 6th house in navamsha ... 6th house for accidents and disputes!
