adult /jr clothing is definitely made smaller these days I can take a pair of jeans from about 10 yrs ago, yes I do still have a few pairs lol but they are 0 and 3 you hold them next to that size today and they are so SO FREAKING SMALL! Especially in the waist i swear I have seen them look 2/3 sizes different and children’s clothes idk I feel like they are just all over the place lol especially the infant/toddler clothing
Yes, the vintage clothes run small. I've gotten clothes for toddler Caylee that end up being too small on her so i just use them on baby Caylee. And some outfits they both fit into!
Hi Lisa, happy Monday when I was a kid I started crying way back in 1981 to 83,between 9,and 11years old when I had to in Kmart only buy the jeans literally labeled as for chubby girls 👧 but on the flip side I also think for me and even my real two children the clothes were much better fitting. 👖 👚 👧Lilly looks absolutely adorable with her boo 👻 bucket.🪣 🎃🕷️👻🧙🧡
Lilly is so adorable! Clothes fit weirdly some depends on brand my kodi bear can wear 12 months my Sandie boy wears 6/9 months and looks smaller than Sarah( kodi bear) Mason (Sandie)
Awww your sweet little Lilly is so adorable. She is my favorite..it's very strange how certain clothes are bigger or smaller than each other but yet same age, like I have onesies that are 18 months but different, it's just crazy lol. Very cute video 💜💜💜
Clothes are definitely running bigger now! Omg my baby clothes from the 80’s had pins too! My mom tells me she was getting me in my car seat one day and I kept screaming every time I was picked up. Finally, my grandmother realized the strait pins were stabbing me in the armpits! 🤦🏻♀️🤪 good times! Let me know how that Dunkin bucket is!
Happy Monday!!! Not sure if I noticed but my middle son was bigger in the waist and had a hard time getting clothes in the children’s dept.but wasn’t tall enough for the bigger teenage ones !! So they did have a HUSKY size if you remember in children’s so that helped with my problem at that time😊
Hi Lisa, Lily looks adorable in her new vintage outfit. I've been a size medium most of my adult life and I can tell you, no way can I fit in a medium from the 70's or 80's. My grandkids are much bigger than what my children were back in the day. Foods are more nutritional and I'm sure an increase in hormones in food makes a difference as well, just a thought. Yes, I remember the pins in clothing with the tissue paper. What a pain it was to try on clothes, removing pins and then pins covering the dressing room floors. Really enjoyed the chat!!! 💖😊🕸🕷
I don't like the new Boo buckets either. Someone on my local Buy Nothing group was giving away a couple of the Blue buckets. She gave them to me. I am not collecting them this year. I went to Dunkin Donuts and got the bucket with donut holes. The Dunkin Donuts bucket is a lot nicer and a thicker plastic.
Cute bucket
Lilly looks precious in her outfit. Love tge boo bucket too.
I do think clothes ran smaller back then.
Love, and hugs my Friend.
Xxxooo ❤️
I think so too 😊

Definitely smaller back in the day. But let’s be real in the 70’s and 80’s bigger wasn’t as accepted at all.
Get well soon!
Thank you 😊
@@LisasLittles You're welcome😊

Oh YES! My sister and I both wore the husky jeans from the boys department. Lol
hmmm I’m 47 and I do not remember the pins in clothes lol I wonder if it was more of a cultural thing, like certain areas used them
Maybe. But I remember removing them from clothes we had gotten at Kmart at one point 😊
Yes clothes were smaller because kids were smaller I think.
I think so too.

I’m gonna have to get me one of those buckets from Dunkin. The donut holes look good too! Yum!
Were they smaller? Or is it because children are just bigger now?
I think kids were smaller back then to be honest. Or at least expected to be.
