Incredible handling of left foreground bank..one can feel the height and swell of it. Everything quiet and serenely leading the viewer back to those gloriously lighted mountains. A beautiful painting and as a painter I am truly in awe. Bravo!
How fabulous! This is better than any tranquilliser, the sound of the river, the birds, the woodpecker and to be able to watch a master craftsman at work too is just magical. I particularly like the colour of the mountains, the warm and cool colours seem to pop and the reflections in the water are divine. How I’d love to be one of your students.

Hi Alexander, you are masterful, what mediums do you use in the beginning and then during the painting? my paint doesn't even come off the brush sometimes, the surface is so wet from my first sketch
