completely different series, but Sarutobi Sasuke is a "legendary ninja" from Japanese folklore, that's why they share names, and usually look alike (surname means Flying Monkey) thing is, if you search "Sarutobi Sasuke", even if you put Naruto in your search, the Sasuke from Basara shows up, so people mistakefully gets his picture
Too be fair most, if not all of the things crazy power-wise that Naruto has going on are based from shinobi stories and legends that have been told and cranked up to 11. Also they use plenty of weapons, I'm guessing you stopped watching kinda early on? Even so these ninja's are REALLY awesome, they even stealth it up most of the time ^^
