Damn, more than a year ago and still no reply. Here's my take on getting more damage by playing the game for almost 2 months. Use specializations, and unlock elite specializations. Unlock professions because they give you bonus attacks. Spend gems to get pegs cause you need them for upgrading technology in your guild, focus on attack if you like that but mostly spend guild contributions on what you like, if you like pvp then spend it on attack on players, read the technology tree for more info. Advance your weaponry to supreme then modify it a ton. Add chips for more damage then use weapons and items based on your level i.e. if your level 79 then use level 79 gear. Don't worry if you think you're doing less damage against players with the same level, they might have been playing the game longer than you are. Keep grinding, do dailies, do missions, and just enjoy what kind of Play style you want.
