Honda CBR250RR MC22 Pure Sound New Mic setup Experiment

Experimenting with a new mic setup, placing the Zoom H1N recorder on the tank just behind the cockpit while using a deadcat. Although you can see a lot of wind distortion in the video, the deadcat did a good job filtering the wind noise. I had to increase the gain a lot in post though as I put it way too low on the recorder (25%) which lead to some distortion in the final product.
I'm going to try putting the gain at 40% next time and activating the limiter on the recorder.
In the meantime, enjoy a bit of 250cc 4 cylinder whiny noise.

I have the 400 version, it's a cracking machine, love it to pieces. 20k is just crazy, imagine the g forces on those tiny pistons, Honda really have made some incredible machines over the years.

Not sure if you can get those for an MC22. Anyway, the exhaust I have now is probably just as loud or louder, but the microphone doesn't do it justice. Needs some more experimenting 😁

@@kimmo9127you could definitely fit one but it would not help with performance and honestly you'd probably lose even more low range torque which is terrible with these bikes

@@swiftbobber bit of a delay in the delivery but all is good as I got it today,just got back from my first ride on it and I wont be able to get the grin off my face for days,it felt so good getting on it the first time,ride position was ideal for me and comfort was pretty damn good 🤘😎🤘
