Since the days of the Seaboard Air Line, lugging rock loads out of the quarry district west of Miami has been a tradition on the Homestead and Miami Subdivisions. CSX symbol train K-978 originates on the Homestead Sub and makes its way north to Sanford in central Florida. On a sunny Florida morning, you are the engineer of CSX K-978 with a pair of husky EMD SD80MACs as power.
