Outstanding interview. My favorite GLP conversation ever. Tami Simon is a national/global treasure.
Thank you for exploring how she and Sounds True became such an institution in the world of direct-spiritual-experience.

What an amazing woman! I recognize her voice from Alan Watts's audiobooks, but I didn't know that that voice (I really loved) was of such a wise, intelligent and inspiring woman! Love her!

So Tami. Nice to hear from you the lady with the platinum pipes. The perfect voice.
I agree with you about the Internets ability to help us connect to a "teacher" and the "transmission it provides. I am the recipient of great fortune from this unique tool. I am now in the witnessing stage and seeking is essentially optional for me at this point. ( You can refer to Gregg Goode for clarification of the witness I refer to.)
I will play around with your writings and Thank You and best of luck.

This interview is a gem. Tammy comes across as really true then as she is true now.

Same thing happened to be, the silence thing. My parent were also terrified, they still are, since Im 27 and Im not talking just to fill up space, just when I feel to and when Im compelled to. Same thing with the work of God too.

She has an interesting way of running her own business. I love it when people make up their own rules instead of going along with the status quo.

I enjoyed the insights this interview gave me very much. I generally despise most spiritual gurus and the alternative "spiritual" community, whatever that means. finding someone worth listening to there is like finding a needle in a haystack. I enjoy Thich Nhat Hann?, and sometimes the Dalai lama. Osho is nice as well, but hes naughty and playful, and what he says needs not to be taken at face value or internalized. Nobody else I've found worth listening to about these kind of things.

I've heard many of her podcasts over the years. Years ago she seemed like a woman on a mission. Now she sounds mean and very selfish. The interviews are like her personal therapy sessions. Her voice is now unbearable to me, which is a pity because the interviewees are interesting. I see her as an ugly voice, looks and personality. She seems very controlled in how she speaks, tight lipped, carrying a lot of tension in her jaw. She doesn't seem free, open or nice. Often she says Um hmn to her guests and sounds quite rude to them. And always tries to show she's superior somehow. Hope she can change her attitude.

How does that comment serve your growth? Does every thought need to be spoken even if you believe it to be true? What we see outward is a projection. May all beings live in peace . 🙏
