I can remember there being a time... when I was really close to God... but I allowed myself to get in the way. I started to foolishly follow the lusts of the flesh, and the more I followed them, the further I got from Christ. Though I am now back on track it was scary.
But let me tell you this, brethren: When your flesh makes you trip, don't give up, GET up. Be determined to be holy in this life, and follow the Spirit~!
When I picture the preaching of Paul in the Bible this is what I picture. I wish every pastor was like Mr Washer than I would actually want to go to church because for some reason it is a rare thing to find someone preaching the truth.
One of the blessing in this world is to meet this man my full brother, he is saved, I barely found people like him😫😫😫😫😫

Don't idolize him! this is love because it is only God that can save your soul. 1 John 5:21. Bring this to God and tell him that you want to have a fellow true believer to walk with you in this faith, nothing is impossible with God!

I am just sock in what I have been through in churches and it shocks me that I never seen people on fire to talk so much about Jesus
I pray that I have a fellowship with CHILDREN OF GOD not fake children of God

Why are you always screaming Paul? I love your insights but I can hardly take the intensity you speak with. You make the anxiety rise in my soul, you make my chest tight. It's not pleasant my brother, just calm down.
Do remember that it is said of Jesus he prayed, "with loud cries and tears, " (Heb. 5:7), so we must be careful to not wrongly view these emotions. Even though some fake it...it is powerful when one is truly gripped with God's Word and it brings about such passion.
@I'll Be Honest why is it you people are always constantly misunderstanding and misquoting scripture. Jesus was not ministering in that way. It's meant to show the intensity with which he prayed to his father. Im saying here in this instance for me it's unpleasant to listen to a man screaming like that. I like what's coming out his mouth but the anxiety with which he speaks, and extreme tone he takes, makes the message almost lost. At a certain point I have to turn it off because my chest gets tight which is a shame because I really enjoy his message and insight on scripture.

@davper8619 get outta here, seriously get out of this thread. There is nothing more pleasant than the message of the gospel. Nothing more beautiful, nothing more important, and nothing more pleasant, than knowing my sins are forgiven and I have eternal life. Learning to give an important message, the most important in fact, in a tone and demeanor that is easily received is something every pastor should master. No man of God should make himself off putting to the point where even someone who completely agrees with him is having trouble listening.

@SIXTHS3AL That is true...but I also do not want to waste the precious time God has given me, this could be my last day-my last hour-I don't know...I don't want to stand before God knowing I will so little motivated to advance his kingdom.I just want to see his name be glorified, in my home, in my school, in my life.I can go through all the suffering in the world if that will bring him glory because I know nothing else than seeing him glorified will satisfy me.

@seekatruth More like where to go with my life, where God is leading, to get out of being afraid to live for him out loud, get out of the trap of being ashamed, weak,selfish,and prideful.To be able to face the constant wickedness and evil I see everywhere around me and having to deal with the fact that my flesh is so weak to move, that I want to do good but my flesh is always there fighting me.I await on God for he has lead me and I trust shall continue to do so.
@psk6565 No-I have pretty much cut TV out of my life(as well as secular music),I only go on the Internet for purposes such as this and it is not what is going in me that defiles me, it is what comes out.I am just so weak and confused-and I seek God and hope in him but my heart is so...so....not focused on him that I can't seek with all of it,and i am afraid and burdened.
