As a mother I feel Queen, you wanna make sure your child is good on the first day. I drove my baby to school her first day and went to breakfast with her and made sure she got to her class ok.. It's just being a mom. Now my girl going to 6th grade and I'll pull up in a heartbeat.

Here in Tx the area I live. Our director installed a machine to let all kids have a badge so they can check if they on and off the bus. Just hope they remember to bring it with them everyday.

It's just my children never rode no bus before it was always me taking them. I just like it so far parents get the text alerts when their children swipe their badges. We had about 14 missing kids last year not coming home after school from the bus. Found out they over their friends house down the street. Smh

As a kindergarten, 1st grade teacher I can assure you, there are teachers and TA’s right when they get off the bus and all around the halls to help the kids find their way around in elementary. Also parents pop up all the time for lunch with their kids. That young, they really don’t mind. Lolol.

Bus drivers don’t take children to their classes. When I was in the second or third grade, I got off the bus and had no clue where I was going. I ended up wandering around, and somehow sometime later someone found out I was in the wrong place and took me where I needed to go. It was scary as a little kid so I understand queen‘s perspective as a mom

I pulled up on my kids randomly at high school at all hours of the day cause I worked my work was flexible and I worked in the schools. I tell you what, they kept in line and went to classes when they should cause they knew I could pull up at any time. And they know “mama don’t play” and wouldn’t hesitate to lay down the law wherever

I totally understand where Queen is coming from. Our son is the same age. In few weeks my son will be going to first grade and going on the bus just like CJ. Her calling the school making sure everything is okay, I will react the same way. Honestly, once my son get on the bus, I will drive behind the bus to make sure he got in the building okay lol. That’s how it is when you’re a mom and gets worried. Our babies is getting big.
QUEEN, for elementary students/kids, as the bus approaching the school territory a designated teacher would be waiting to walk them to the building and to their class. Trust me he gets to class lol I am a teacher. These kids are protected at all costs. Kids aren't left alone, even if a teacher needs to use the bathroom another faculty member must come to watch the kids until the teacher is back. Just an FYI lol.. luv you girl :)
