For 4 years my blower only worked on high...The dealer told me it was going to cost me $485.00. I could not afford $485.00 and at the time there was no videos like this that diagnose the heater. Thank you for posting this video, great tip on removing the glove box by hitting or pressing on the bottom part that sits on the pin. I bought the part at autozone for $15.00 and it took me about 45 minutes to install. Great video. Thanks again
I am glad it helped!
Thanks you just saved me 150$ bucks that is what it costs to get fixed
Simple and direct...that's the way you do it. ⭐
Thanks I needed this to remind me of where this part was set.
Well done.
Specific instructions get right to the point. No fluff.
My problem was fix, 11.60 U$ in Autozone Store, Congratulation to share this video
Thanks for the help! Great video
Thanks for the video, exactly what I was looking for!
Many MANY thanks!!!! Works like a charm!!!
Nice job showing this and the actual tool size! I appreciate your efforts.
Excellent, $30 repair compared to $500 the dealer estimate was!
Will this help if the blower motor won’t turn off at all?
I have a question. When I looked up the part online it asked me if I wanted a rear or front blower mower resistor, which one should I chose and what is the difference? If you could please hit me back as soon as possible it would greatly be appreciated!
Would a bad resistor make the fan not blow at all even in the highest position?
Thanks a lot!
Thank you bro
Mine is constantly on high even when the dial is in the off position. It comes on once the key is turned to the on position. Any ideas?
My best guess is that you have climate control. Rather than a blower motor resistor hidden behind the glove box you have a blower motor power module. Typically, the Jeeps HVAC fans default to high speed, until you fix the faulty power module.
@3208catbird and how do you fix the module?
Hi I need your help! I have a 2006 Jeep Commander V8 Hemi and the AC stopped working in the front completely all of a sudden. When I turn it on I hear noises coming from it but no air comes out at all. The back 3rd row seats AC works perfectly...I am not sure what to do, can you give me your best advice please? Thank you!
Thank you very much for your video, its very simple, i ordered mine, i had the same problem but mine is cleaner ahahahahahahah:)))
What if it just blows on high and stays on high. I can change from face, feet and defrost. And i can change from hot and cold. It's just stuck on high
Thank you for this friend.
Is the shift knob aftermarket? I really like it
That's what it looks like when the silver part on top of the knob falls off. Happened to my jeep too.

My A/C SOMETIMES IS COLD, SOMETIMES HOT
Okay so my jeep AC will only work while the it's running but once I stop the AC turns off. Expressway the AC is freezing and running good on all levels but I get a red light or stop sign it automatically stops when I hit the break could it be that as well?
+Aischa Chiquito if it blows but warm ac then check freon level. If it stops to blow air at all then something else
okay thank you!
