Had a generational experience yesterday when I brought my daughter out to see my side of the family and we played this movie. My daughter, being only 3, was singing along and enjoying it when the time machine parts came up. My youngest brother, in his teens and has high functioning autism, said it looked cool and he liked the song and then there was my middle brother in his 20s, me in my 30s and our mam all wondering the same thing.....what in the blue hell were they smoking when they did those time travel scenes?! 🤣🤣. Seriously though, it shows just how timeless Spongebob is when multiple generations can all enjoy it together and it is easily up there with Loony Tunes and Tom and Jerry for it's greatness. I was 9 when this show first aired and it still holds a place in my heart to this day and always will.
