Would love a team composition video! As a Caustic main often playing with a Lifeline and Wraith, it would be great to know how to be more efficient with our legends picks
Aurora playing lifeline during pro league and with her buffs she got I am interested to see how that shakes up the meta at LAN. I honestly don’t understand how more teams aren’t playing her with the Gold care pack getting a evo cache to level someone all the way to red and especially on storm point getting purple is easy. And a gold knock and gold bag are nice to haves but not necessarily as good in comp as in ranked or pubs. Because the rez does not happen near as often. But the infinite doc drone means your team can prioritize nades and shields over white meds. And most teams do already but 2 medkits in any bag size would probably work. And those extra nades would pair well with a horizon and then probably a controller legend of choice probably caustic to be able to fight other caustics. It also means you have a support legend so crafting banners is possible and care packs can be cover in end game. So many things become possible with a lifeline. I suppose caustic isn’t as good on storm point so maybe you pair it with bloodhound or Bangalore and horizon and switch to the caustic on WE. I don’t know for sure partly because I’m not a pro player, lol, but it makes me excited to watch what happens in LA.
A little off topic...I think the devs should create the following ltm mode as a test to counter 3rd party hunting in apex legends. The mode should allow players on a team who complete a full squad wipe heal automatically or receive a time Buff to increase the rate of application of meds/cells etc. Full squad wipe definition would be: an opposing squad/team killed by another single team of players. (I.e a party must kill entire squad to receive benefit) IMO, Those who initiate fights and win them should not be punished but should be rewarded or at least at the outset be on a level playing field as those who time 3rd parties. This will also bring more skill/decision making on whether to 3rd party or not.
This really should have been in the game since season one People have been complaining about third parties since the game came out and receiving 50% faster shield and health application or auto healing after a squad wipe is a must in apex
U doing great, but watching all that pro's on controller with aa hurts deep in my very old fps heart. Where is the good old raw skill without aa. Whats the motivation to get the best player with crutches? I dont get it. Casuals ok its funny on console to play after work or so. But comp with crutches???
I wish they'd just give Bangalore a rework and get rid of the smoke altogether. Its so annoying to play in, no matter if it's an enemy or on your team, and it even worse to watch people play in smoke. There's no other Legend in the game that if played wrong hurts your whole team the way she does.
I was really disappointed with how homogenous the team compositions were at the start of this season, so I'm glad that it's creeping in the other direction. Seeing nearly every one of the teams running Bangalore/Bloodhound was so boring.
Yeah I caught myself a bit there. +30 if you take the perk but you guarantee losing tactical time that way. Used to be able to grab that perk for free at lvl 2.
IMO this team is hanging on to the last vestiges of something that may have to change. My lead up convo and highlight of E8 is brining attention to the transition of the old back to the new with the changes. TSM is sticking with what has worked for them, but that’s just one team.
I’ve been waiting for seer to slowly come back in the meta. Just not to the point where it’s overwhelming of course.
Seer was crazy OP when he released, but good lord Apex was so electric and exciting then. Always happy to see him in comp it brings me back
