He generally uses his old SD9, with the gain basically off. That said, the original Maxon SD9 has a huge amount of gain, similar to this pedal. But, it seems TWA and Scott fixed the tone control; the originals are unbelievably bright and scooped by 9 o' clock

That pedal even set at halfway gain has way more gain than I've ever heard Henderson use ever.

Came for the pedal demo...stayed for R.J.'s guitar playing...
I appreciate that you use both the LP and Strat style guitars for the demonstration. $300 is steep for a pedal. I'll stick with my Fulldrive.
Nice playing as usual RJ. Pedal sounds good I'm just not much of a tube screamer guy.
Not me eighter that's why this pedal is bit more fun because it has nothing to do with a tube screamer.

Sounds to me like it's worse then the Maxon SD-9 which Scott has been using for decades.
Too much compression and it's also expensive. There's so many better sounding pedals. Sorry Scott. Love your playing RJ!
