21:45 WARNING ABOUT KOH MAK!
My hometown is there, Trat Province. Please allow me to give a little information. Trat Province is an area bordering Cambodia. World War Era At that point Thailand fought with France. If you take a boat trip, you will see historical spots. What I saw was the point of a rock that was shot by a cannon and cut into a cliff. Thank you for visiting and please enjoy this amazing trip.🙏♥️
Thanks for the information 🙏❤️
koh Chang koh Khud koh Mak which is best Island to stay ?
@nuttasit896 can u please guide us how we can come here from Bangkok by road or by air , cost, hotels etc
Stunning, never understand why people flock to the over crowded and over rated islands/areas when you have these beautiful lesser visited islands BUT it’s a catch 22 because whilst more visitors would be great the need to keep them authentic and unspoiled is even greater. Beautiful video though thanks for sharing 😊
Yes exactly this!
Really good video! You really manage to show the island in a good. Would be nice to spend a month there to relax and charge the batteries.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great vlog. My wife and I usually go to Koh Phayam and we've been looking at alternatives. Trouble is, everything else we've seen is so commercial compared to it. Mak is the closest in feel and vibe so we may end up visiting. That or Kho Rong Samloen.
Koh Mak is good but I would personally recommend going a little further on to Koh Kood. Really vibey island
And now we’re dreaming of visiting 😍😍
It's well worth a visit!
Amazing!
🙌
Great video guys - now, I’m currently in Koh Mak and I’m distraught by the amount of trash 🚮 I found here. The only time I saw more trash on beaches or in the sea was in Malaysia and most came from Thailand. They have a huge waste management problem in Thailand - they can’t even manage theirs so add 40 million tourists … heartbreaking 💔
Oh that's terrible! We didn't see too much trash during our visit. Is it on the beaches or all over the island? It's often a case of getting washed up from elsewhere...
Yes a couple of beaches - but that's a national issue - people are still throwing their rubbich into the oceans - especially: fishermen...
@@WhereNextFamily
Yes I think the fisherman issue is a big one. Often they are coming from other countries in their boats and just throwing trash into the ocean. Its very sad
I’m retired at 50 in Thailand and never heard of this place… looks amazing! Thanks for sharing. 😊🙏🏻
Our pleasure! You should check out Koh Mak and Koh Kood. They are amazing islands 🙂
Heading here in January 2024 same resort and all 4 days and 5 days in Koh chang lovely to see this video I've made a good decision by the looks of things also just made it to the end of the video staying in indie beach also in Koh Chang 😂😂😂
Have fun! Do let the guys at Indie Beach know that you watched our vlog 🙂 They are friends of ours ❤️
Yass!! Another 🔥 video from Adaaaammm!!! I couldn’t even take my eyes off the screen with those 🔥🔥😋 biceps and chest. Thank you so much Ina!!! ❤❤❤💪🏻🫵🏻🇹🇭🇺🇸😘🥰
Hehe thanks for the support 🙏 💓
I'll make sure the chest and biceps make more appearances 🤣
Very cool place..thank you for sharing !!!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Oh ja super Video;)
Thank you
Beautiful
Thank you ❤️
Fantastic video, but I couldn’t help notice someone’s hand touching all the pastries at the breakfast buffet! 😮
🙈
"KonGinSen" is a very crafty name for an eatery. It has double meanings. One is "Noodle Eater(s)". The other is "People Who Like/Get Along With Each Other".
Sounds like a great name for a restaurant 😊 🙌
Good to see you use the same mini 3 pro case as me.
It's helped my drone survive many things 🤣

How much the Price for Food here? Compare, i have paid last week 80 THB for a American Breakfeast including Coffee and Orange Juice in Pattaya, how much costs it here in the Isle?
I have to be honest, I don't remember as this was last year. It was pretty good value, but being an island you will always pay a bit more
hey graet vid thanks for shring, could you explain the best way to book a ferry/speedboat from trat to koh mak ?
Sure thing. Drop us a DM on Instagram and we'd be happy to help ☺️
Nice video. Do they have any 7/11 or Atms now in Koh Mak? Been there 3 times but was like 4 years ago. Living in Phuket now. Want to go back if I can close my business for a week next year. Hope it never gets like Phi Phi now Mcdonalds, bank etc ...
No 7/11, and I'm not sure about the ATM.
It's very well protected by the local families and they have strict rules about what businesses they will allow to operate, so I don't think it will ever get to the position that Phi Phi is
@@WhereNextFamily Happy to hear that.
Can you travel to Koh Mak directly from Koh Kood? And is there any snorkelling opportunity here?
Yes you can. Koh Mak is actually on the way back to Koh Chang. Most tour operators can book it for you
@@WhereNextFamily Thank you so much. 😀
❤❤
❤️❤️
Can u please guide me where we can go ? My husband don’t like too many people around , he wants to visit some cool n calm places to visit . Plz guide me how can go kohmak , distance from Bangkok complet travel guide .
To get to Koh Mak & Koh Kood (close to each other) you can get a bus from Bangkok Airport directly to the island of Koh Chang. Here you can stop for a couple of days as it's also not the busiest island. Then get a speedboat from the pier to Koh Mak & Koh Kood. Very easy
I watched Paddy Doyle and that hotel on the island that's abandoned apparently they built it but didn't have the permission from the Thai government and they shut it down 😮
Oh interesting 🤔
Your friends partner 'Zoo', he looks familiar, I used to live in Koh Phi Phi for 10 years (2000-2010) and a couple more years in Phuket town after that!
I think maybe Zoo lived in Phi Phi actually...
He's a musician and travelled all over Thailand so it's possible you've seen him before
Are the sandflies as bad as they say?
Yeah they are pretty bad in Koh Mak. It's a shame because it's a beautiful island but it's hard to even spend time on the beach
@@WhereNextFamilythanks for letting me know. We really want to go but sandfly bites last for months with me.😢 I'm so bummed
Check out Koh Kood just next to Koh Mak. Really amazing island without the sand flies 🙂
Koh Mak definitely still worth a visit, just wait until Koh Kood for lounging on the beach 🙂
I was there in December and wasnt bothered at all by sandflies. Only saw on person with bites in 5 days
I would be the one they bite, that's for sure!@@BillyMustang101
You really should not tell anybody...soon it will be like koh phangan, and NOONE wants this! don´t put staff like this on youtube...eventhough your film was nice.
Respectfully people have been making vlogs about these islands for years. Its less visited because its more trouble to get to and there is less appeal to foreigners. I would doubt our little channel would be responsible for a sudden boom in tourism to the island when even the bigger island nearby of Koh Chang is not as busy as many of the other Thai islands
