The crocs are so cute. Maybe you could get into light painting photography so when there is a blackout, you can be creative in the dark. There are YT videos on it 😀
Hi Heather I live in the UK and when the natural sunlight changes due to weather/seasonality my mood can really deteriorate. I don't know if you are aware of SAD syndrome (google it). I bought a SAD light and its amazing how much it brightens my mood. I've found you can overdo and have too much though and I have my mind thinking too much and won't stop, so I have insomnia as my mind won't stop thinking of projects to make, mistakes I've made etc. which have a negative effect. Carefully managed it is very effective. Love the crocz, so cool. Having the month off has definitely brought your zest for your creative life. You needed it. I am still learning that your needs come before others. You can't take on anyone's needs before your own: without it you can't help the people you want to do.

I also used to hate on crocks, but the charms and things definitely make me re-evaluate my opinions about them, lol. I LOVE your goth crocks though. If I were to have some they’d have to be black platform ones! Ilytad!

So like about 15 yrs ago when I first became a medical assistant, I started wearing crocs, normally you would only see medical staff wearing them, well I didn’t realize I dragged my feet a lot until I wore crocs because I almost ate shit a few times because rubber and vinyl floors was not a good combo lol but they were so comfortable since I was always on my feet but I stopped wearing them so I won’t get hurt at work, plus people always made fun of my crocs 😅 cuz they weren’t the “it” thing yet
Could you invest in some battery-powered lanterns for those dark times? I have one that we use when we lose power. Also, I’m afraid to get on the croc train 😂
I'm 41 and I still can't do crocs even though I love comfy. I knit and my cousin sent me a hack with yarn and crocs and I am like cool idea, but nope. Each to their own though. Wow you got a lot of snow, that's still a long time to go without electric.
A lot of flippers just want it to look good for someone to purchase, not last and look good. My bros old house looked so good and the tub started chipping like that, and marble counters turned yellowish… Very weird some of it. Here for the crocs though, bc I want some sandals… I wear boots to concerts… But I am comfy not sexy now at 34 lol
Obviously it would be a big deal but given your seasonal depression, have you ever considered moving to an area that doesn't have a significant winter? Or have you lived in climate like that before? Also, I hate when I have no power, I'm on a well so I don't have water when the power is out. I do have a generator and a wood stove so it's not too bad but the last time I lost power was after Fiona and it was 6 days (some people were out for 17 days!). When the power is out in the winter, I just use melted snow for the toilet lol
