You are when you say that they don't care! No microcode can fix the wrong Loaline and Lite Load settings that ventors keep defaulting them motherboards. Releasing the new platform it won't do any justice to this platform as well. By now, it is clear that the only way to fix this default BIOS madness is to under volt or just accept the performance penalty that the new microcodes introduced. Thanks for the video.

Just wanna add after messing with new bios 0x12B for 1 hour on my MSI Z790 Carbon Wifi II i have found CPU Lite load 12 and PL2 300W Offset@ -0.045 mV to keep the voltages under 1.360 and still getting good performance sure there is no way anyone can get 41k cinebench anymore with these 0x129-0x12B bios. Point is: Problem is not the Wattage or Ampere problem is the MSI pushing CPU Lite Load to Mode 16 for no freaking reason which sends voltages if IA CEP disabled to 1.57v which is ridiculous. Intel is trying to fix but mobo companies are on top of it to destroy your CPUs.

My 13700k was still hitting 1.4v in hardware info running cinebench23. Put an adaptive + offset -0.070 by pwm and changed load line to mode 3 and CPU lite load to mode 3. Max I'm hitting now is 1.2xx . 29xxx on in cinebench23
@@3lp536 On my Asus Z790 is says C1E is basically forced on and cannot be disabled with the microcode fix update, so forced speedstepping, it will downclock constantly because of this.
@@WhoDunnit32 on my MSI Motherboard, i can't choose between Intel speedstep and SpeedShift, and even with the new BIOS, my cpu still runs at 1.405V on IDLE and 1.398V under load. so NOTHING changed.
No it doesn't but problem here is CPU is still gettin too much Voltages because of Motherboard manufacturers are being moronical. Make sure you tweak your CPU lite load to less than mode 12. idk which CPU are you using but if you are on i9-13900k set your PL1 to 253 but PL2 to at least 288-300W @ iccMax 340A, if you are on auto stock settings. I would recommend setting the CPU Clock to static 5200mhz, override voltage of 1.3v and ring ratio 45, E-core disabled or if not then 4000mhz if you are only gaming.
