What were your qualifications for this video? This video was posted 6 days ago. And nothing from Ted Lasso? Really? I could name several scenes from that show alone. Especially, after Jamie's father berates Jamie, then Roy going over to hug Jamie.
The good place is one of my all time favorite tv shows. It's heartfelt, funny, and sweet. I'm rewatching the series for like the third time and it never gets old! Definitely recommend.
Its really hard to top the #1 spot - a lot came very close but man, that was a moment for the ages. Awesome list - all are great moments. Schitt's Creek definitely a personal favorite for me.
Sitcom moments that made us happy cry Van’s relationship with his mother-in-law Reba- Reba the Sitcom DJ’s talk/ like a mother figure for her sisters and Kimmy-Full House The double wedding- Glee When Oscar offered to help Angela letting her stay at his house-The Office Ray and Tia bonding like father and daughter- Sister,Sister Luke discovering he has a daughter-Gilmore Girls Taking Hyde in living with the Foreman’s-that 70’s show Monica taking Rachel in living with her and welcoming her to her group of friends-Friends Mr Moseby’s father figure to London Tipton- The Suite Life of Zack & Cody Shawn and Jack Hunter discovering they are brothers- Boy Meets World (even though there were tense moments)
I gotta say I was so tired of the Ross/Rachel thing that I just didn’t care. He was so annoying throughout the whole series. Always whining about everything. And I don’t see anyone like her ever marrying anyone like him in the real world. And it was a bit much that such a tight knit group of friends ended up having two couples that married. Honestly it would’ve made more sense for them to part at the end. Then maybe years later do a reunion show where they meet and fall in love again.
Personal favourite for me is Dr. Cox finally admitting how he feels about his protegé, his colleague, his friend. "He thinks I'm an exceptional...ow...person!"
Mitch and Cam wedding may be my favorite sitcom wedding ever. Reminds me why I love this show despite last seasons being questionable. It was simple and heartwarming.
While I was a little disappointed that Shawn and Angela didn't end up together, I was still happy that he found a happy ending with Katy. Even better, he formally adopted Maya, coming full circle from how Mr Turner looked after him.
I love a lot of these moments, but where is Niles and Daphne from Frasier on here?? Them running away together, their first date, getting married? So many great happy cry moments.
I remember seeing Schmidt’s proposal to cc and at the time I was more shocked than crying for joy, but I feel like the shock value is what makes it so heartwarming
This might be an unpopular opinion but Rachel getting off the plane 🤨 not really a happy tears moment. Would have preferred her staying on the plane 🤷🏼
Top 20 white sitcoms* There’s a moment in ‘black-ish’ where Bow is having her sonogram with all her family around her and for about 30 seconds, the baby’s heartbeat cannot be detected and you can see the worry on everybody’s faces. And then the heartbeat kicks in and it’s definitely a ‘happy cry’ moment
Rachel giving up Paris for Ross really doesn't sit right with me, especially with how often he'd disrespected her and her career and didn't even show any concern for her giving up that opportunity. The Nobel speech finale moment is pretty overrated too, imo and Sheldon didn''t deserve that happy ending at all. The B99 moment with them all supporting Rosa is so amazing, wholesome and important though. 🩷🩷
Yeah, I just got so annoyed with the fact that he won and that he didn't even listen to Amy's speech and that they all forgave him without knowing what he was going to say. I like to think that they came for Amy but I doubt that, sadly. Penny deserved better as well.
Yeah, that’s a good point too, it felt kinda contrived and forced, they just played it so safe and it didn’t have the emotional/heartwarming effect that they were going for, in my opinion anyway.

I thought Jim's proposal to Pam was a tearjerker, but their wedding was too beautiful to not start bawling.
Phoebe marrying Mike always makes me happy cry, because of all she's been through, and finding her perfect match.

Ive watched most of the sitcoms in this list and I can heavily vouch that these moments did make me cry. How I wish my life to be a sitcom.

The Office when Pam caught up with Michael at the airport to say goodbye. It was that much better that we couldn't hear what they were saying.
