Join us as we visit the beautiful garden of Dave Roberts in Sacramento, California. Dave is a retired landscaper, nurseryman and sustainable landscape advocate. He created a dreamy succulent and cacti garden where there used to be just a driveway and makes the most of his small space with containers.

I’m near Palm Springs and have been dowsing my plants with cinnamon turmeric and aspirin with all these heavy rains to avoid rot

Cool and beautiful garden. I like the types of plants that you collected. I like to know if these plants ever experienced frost or snow. What is the lowest temperatures that you experience yearly in your location? I am in Beaverton. Oregon and have some of the same plants. Thanks a lot!!!

We are in Zone 9a in Sacramento. This is actually in Sac area, not one of the suburbs I believe. So usually 28 degrees is the lowest and it is not regular. Maybe 1-2x a season. Thanks for watching!
