We (NZ) played like a bunch of 10 year olds. Running up to the person with the ball and getting a 3 foot pass. Not fully turning. Then doing a lateral pass. Then going backwards. Repeat. The Aussie defence just had to shift sideways and in the space of 10 passes we still were no where near the goal. You could throw a blanket over the whole team. Was embarrassing.
The AUS defence did an excellent job at shutting them down, New Zealand simply didn’t have enough attacking strategies to get around there defence
I feel like the ferns really need Kimiora Poi and Peta Toiava instead of Gordon and Souness. And no idea why they are using Kelly Dury she is not mobile enough to combat anything…

They performed well in the world cup, Taurua mentioned in an interview that she wanted to stick with her strongest side, which she saw in the NWC
That should have been Gordon's ball her landing space Hadley purposely stopped to hold space without the ball that's Australia contact landing space
It actually wasn't called as contact on Gordon. It was the contact by the GD at the top of the circle before that if you rewatch the game.

Yup, it wasn’t this incident that caused the stoppage but it’s certainly one that can have a lot of different opinions!
Even if she caught the ball. Hadley was already in that space and stationary and therefore no one else may land there.

That’s a great question! If both teams win 2 games then the aggregate score will decide the winner. So basically the team who scored the highest number of goals over all 4 games is the winner 🏆

SF needs new structures new idea and new methods and new strong coach. Noline has done her time
She did a great job with the ferns in the first 18 months but as we’ve seen the whole structure hasn’t been enforced from grass roots to international meaning they’ve not enough depth and variety in players.
@Netball-TV no doubt I agree but as diehard fans, we can not be second best in international netball SF has many quality players who has the height flair agility to play competitive game. ANZ competition is very narrow and not competitive, unlike SSN where player are exposed to different players and flair...

The fast flowing game we had with Langman is gone. These small unnecessary passes were crap.
Yes they definitely lacked options on the ball and struggled to make space. Interestingly though, if you watch the ENG vs AUS World Cup final, you’ll see the Roses also struggled with this, meaning that the AUS diamonds have created excellent defence strategies.
