Making fossil ceramic Handmade Tile for Mosaic Mural

Making handmade ceramic tile from clay into fossil shapes. Demonstration of how to create textured tile from clay using a bisq texture mold to impress fossil texture on raw clay.
The result is a unique handmade ceramic tile which will be used in a mosaic mural. The artist leads live art events where handmade tile is created by event participants to be used in a work of group community built mosaic art.
The tiles will be created by particpants in a live community art making event at The Kelsey Ayers Station. The fossil tiles will be incorporated into a mosaic mural for a newly built housing community custom designed for affordability, accessibility, inclusivity, to meet the needs of the differently abled.
