- Van Halen is one of my favorite bands and Alex Van Halen seems to be one of the most under-rated drummers in Rock history - along with Ringo! Jump is straight forward and seems to be pretty simple but there is a lot of interesting stuff going on along with the guitar solo. I really tried to get these bits right!

But we should know about rock music especially from the 80s because that was musics peak not now where unfortunately trash songs are supposedly legendary songs

If my memory is correct, this was Sina's first TH-cam video. And She couldn't have started off with a better song. Van Halen's "Jump" is a classic and she nailed. And look how far she's come since 2013 to 2021 with her last song "Since You've Been Gone" just before she went on a much deserved vacation. She is a diamond. Not only in muic, but life in general. I just wish there was more people like her in this world. It would be a much better place to live in.

Wow. Just found you. I am 51. I started at 2 yrs old. My father went to Berkeley Jazz in Boston. He was a tester at Zildjian Cymbals in Boston as well. Van Halen was my fav at 13. You are an amazing young lady. Congrats to your family, Mom, Dad that did this with you. I agree about Alex. Keep strong and do not listen to the negative ever from anybody. Just discovered this video. Sina has accomplished so much in the eight years since this was recorded. Have always been impressed by the work she's done in giving a stage to other young musicians with her virtual collaborations with so many different artists from around the world.

Although you've re-arranged your kit for more comfort, and your stick technique has evolved, this video shows you had the natural groove, if that's what it should be called, even then. There are people out there for just about any video that td it. Sina is clearly a very talented person and nailed this performance so they could not have td the video for any valid reason. I'd say its simply hate or people who enjoy being richards their entire life.

Sina, you cover these songs that I lived through and that I have listened to, so many, 100's of times each. I cannot fathom how are you able to so quickly absorb and reproduce these drum/rhythm performances....so, Perfectly!!?! I've been a big fan of Sina for years and love the way she has used her platform to turn us on to so many other young musicians. The Sixsters are a great rock band and so glad I discovered them, thanks Sina.
In 1984 my daughter wasn´t born yet, and years after we went to the cinema to watch "Herbie Fully Loaded". She was just a little girl and since then she loved this song and I believe that the Rock genre too. I had to tell you that I saw them "live" two times in concerts in Venezuela when I was a little younger :D All that you play was my music and it still being since my younghood. Now my daughter is 18 years old and she is listening Rock since then and love the legendary bands like the Van Halen brothers´ one. That´s why I´m so fan of your work and performances.

There is a Mona Lisa smile after a difficult drum run (I hope I said it right, I'm not a drummer) just after 2:30. It is ever so faint and fleeting, and so amazing. I think I finally see what Leonardo Di Vinci was trying to capture and it is pure genius... and of course the drum skills are to match.

yes it is a shame. but I'll make you feel better. For whatever weird reasons, the most loved music videos, by most respected artists usually get these dislikes too. Top artist, great song, they nailed it, and often likes vs dislikes are 94% likes to 98% likes no matter who they are. This has 98%+ likes :D. There is rare exception to get a little higher like 99%, but while it's a shame, maybe those people are mental something ;-). Who knows. But she's great.

You almost killed me with the In-a- Gadda-da-Vida video. It definitely brought a couple of tears in me. You've awaken something musical in me that has been laying dormant. A deeper love of music. I played this video for my four-year-old granddaughter when I gave her a drum set for her birthday. I asked her, "Can you do that?" She said, "If you play the music I will." So my son put on some music and little girl went to town right away, playing on all the different drums.
She asked her mother, "How long can I keep these?"
"You can keep them forever," her mother replied. The little girl broke out in a big smile, ran outside to give me hug!

Came on this by accident after listening to the original,by Van Halen, very very impressed with her drumming, one roll or trip that is to long/short, one wrong beat out of step , or one wrong drum played and or "bum" note and you can't disguise it .
Drummers lead a band by a split second and if the timing or direction is wrong then its really wrong.
This little lady makes it look easy but its not. Well Well Done.
