Thank you so much! I’m so over bedside nursing and been looking for a way out! I’m so glad you posted this video to help us and I truly wish you the BEST for your business!
Im an NP considering to open a Med Spa in Texas. We do need a medical director in TX and I got quoted $1700. Im glad I came across this video. I will keep looking for a medical director! I want to offer botox and fillers to start and IV hydration.
Thank you for the great information. We as nurse practitioners cannot practice independently here in Texas FYI. Also an anesthesiologist is a doctor and can be your medical director.
Listen. I have wanted to do aesthetics for so long now. This video was everything. I have subscribed and would love to learn more. Having friends in the same business is so much more comforting.
I am so glad I ran into your page. This video has provided some great insight. I am in the research portion of my goal of starting a MedSpa. I am also in my NP program because I knew this was the direction I wanted to go. How long did you have to work before you were able to walk from bedside to completely focus on your business?
New subscriber here! I love coming across fellow aesthetic nurses! I’m set to open my medical spa in December, I just hired my medical director last week! I made a similar video about my med spa journey and how to open an LLC because I too didn’t see many videos on it. ☺️ great information girl! P.S: I’m in Georgia too! Hopefully I come across you soon in this field of nursing!
The need for a Medical Director / Doctor, is so important if you want to get into the med spa business ! Thank you for pointing this out, and it’s the foundation to a med spa business and get group purchasing discounts on purchases of the Botox, fillers etc. from the medical director.
Def important- it's actually impossible to operate as a Nurse without one. Gotta let yall know the real. Don't want yall out here doing it wrong. Thanks for watching!
Can you do a video about florida laws for aesthetic np’s? Im researching as well but you always have a great comment section so I was hoping to get feedback under the video as well. Thanks in advance!
Thank you for fulfilling this video request. It's very interesting and alot of hard work. I really look forward to what the future holds for you and your business
As always thank you SO much for your transparency and willingness to share!! Between you and The Urban Nurse I am building my bedside end game while finishing my BSN. Just working as an extern I can already see, bedside is NOT it! Plus I’m an entrepreneur at heart. Thank you so much for your advice!!
I’m just wondering how RNs are dunning med spa. Unless there are no injections and meds? Like is there a doctor involved that’s making the prescriptions? I don’t here enough people mentioning that. But i didn’t watch the whole video yet Ok I had to keep watching. Very good info! Thanks for not gate keeping the info. I have been drawing up a business plan for a while now Alibaba filler. Do you have to be a nurse to start? Can I get a phlebotomy license or medical assistant. I have my cosmetology license and I’m currently in school to become a Doctor or Natural Medicine (phd) but with that being a natural pathetic route I wonder if it’s also require so me to get anything additional? Amazing video btw!
How do you fit in good faith exams in your practice with an off site director? Did you have a healthcare business lawyer help in the start up? Also is your agreement a percentage of revenue or a set rate?
Hi. Enjoyed your video. I know it was a year ago . I an in my NP program .doing psychiatry NP. Can i open a medspa with psychiatry Np or it got to be FNP
Thank you for openly volunteering such helpful information. Would a NP need a medical doctor as a medical director in GA for IV hydration and post-op care?
How can you get your foot in the door once you’ve gotten formal training. I would like to be part of a small practice so I can continue to get better before I consider opening up my own practice.

There is a protocol that I go by for the good faith exam. Yes. I had a lawyer that is familiar with the med spa world. I did a set rate; $500 a month
Really enjoyed 🎉

Yes, Georgia is not an independent practice state for NP’s, so they still need to have Medical Director for IV hydration, not Post op

Hi Shannon who were the organizations you used to get certified? I think I missed it
Hey! It should be in the description box.
Hi Shannon, in Georgia will the medical doctor the owner of your business or you own the business and you hire the medical doctor?
You own your business. You just collaborate with the MD. They do not own your business in any way
@@SincerelyShannonSubcribe Thanks for the response.

Aesthetic Record
