Haven't yet played the game but dude, you still have some of the best video game content on TH-cam. Thank you for blessing us with this on Christmas week.
Great video! FF7 is one of those games I've heard a ton about but never sat down to play it. I tend to only hear about the story side of things, it was really cool to learn about the technical and mechanical side of it too! I had no idea how full of minigames it was!
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed it and learned something new. That’s been one of the most enjoyable things about this channel for me: experiencing familiar games in a different way that teaches me something new about them. This video was a blast to make for that reason!
What's crazy is, having played FF7 and the many of the other RPGs coming out around the same time, FF7 was easily the weakest, though still plenty good. Fans who grew up with and stopped at FF7 don't know what other masterpieces were hidden just a little bit deeper: Xenogears, Breath of Fire 3 and 4, Grandia...
Totally, the 90’s were such an incredible time for RPGs! Xenogears specifically has been on my list for a while, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. I didn’t grow up with a ton of RPGs, so it’s been fun to dive into them as an adult. I really enjoyed this video since VII carries a lot of nostalgia for my brothers and me, as well.

Thanks Levi! Merry Christmas, man!
Great video. Nothing to add but I've binged ur DQ videos and am looking forward to your analysis of 5 because i believe it's the peak of DQ
Thank you so much! Couldn’t agree more on DQV, as well. It’s on the docket and is coming soon; can’t wait!
