This is another outstanding performance! I really enjoyed the musical selections, the dramatic portion, and I always look forward to the creative excellence of The Stars and Stripes Forever at the finale of every concert. Great audio recording also!
What luck. We get to see and hear Mito Girls again!!! They are a joy to watch each and every time. The music is very well composed and choregraphed, the band musicianship is magnificent, the skits are funny, the smiling faces are so nice to see and under the guidance and direction of a great Music Director, this band always puts on a very entertaining show. I watch it beginning to end, including the rehearsal, every time. Thank you Mito Girls for another enjoyable and fun performance.!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏!!!!!!!!!!! MIKAN - 👍👍🙇♂️
I am privileged to be able to see and hear these wonderful young people from the other side of my world. They all work together to achieve the best even in little groups and some of them play instruments almost as big as themselves. They are totally obedient without question to their leaders. What amazes me is there is not one sheet of written music to be seen and they all know exactly the part they must play and when to play it. If I were one of their soloists, I would be scared to death but they just take it in their stride. They always bow to us after playing their parts, but it is I who should be bowing low to them in appreciation. It makes me wonder how many tunes they actually know that we have not seen on video yet. The translated narrations are interesting and sketches are fun as well. I thank their musical arrangers and tutors for the excellent work they are doing, and of course I thank all of the girls as well.
Yet again.. Beautiful and enjoyable performance. And also amusing to see and hear (even do not understand Japanese language) the theatrical performances by the young women in colors :-) Very-very enjoyable performance, both musical and theatrical. Thanks for sharing.
Somehow you can feel a really strong ethos in this school from the performance and attitude of the students - a really great performance by everyone - well done everyone!
I know the last march they play so well and have replayed it many times, but can anybody please tell me the title of it? I am ashamed to say I do not know it.
Persimmons are indispensable in autumn in Japan. A little further away from the city, you can see persimmons hanging here and there. And they are very delicious.

"Stars and Stripes Forever" it is a John Philip Sousa march.
I thought that there was no more surrealistic picture of the Japanese-specific hanging persimmon (Tsurusigaki) in the background of the brass band.
Persimmons are indispensable in autumn in Japan.
A little further away from the city, you can see persimmons hanging here and there.
And they are very delicious.
