First off, very cute hairstyle.. yes, I dislike that my hair is thinner after a relaxer. But yes, I like that I can quickly style my hair before heading out. Great video 👍🏾
I think my only dislike is as you said the harsh chemicals. I love the versatility though especially cause I just cut mine from arm pit length to a bob and I love it. I think everyone should be able to do whatever they want with their hair without judgment. 💜
Girl I'm natural and I be damned if I'm going to spend a lot of money on my hair. I use good old blue magic or africas best hair grease. I tried all those over priced products that did absolutely nothing for my hair . Even when I had relaxed hair I used grease and my hair thrived. I had No breakage no hair thining or none of that . People used to think that I had weave or a wig on because of the thickness . Now that I'm natural I get asked how do I get my hair so thick and my two strand twist so juicy. All I use the au natural cream coil moisturizing suffle by Soft Sheen Carson and hair grease that is it.
Very cute hairstyle, please show us how you achieved it...I agree with you totally....I am relaxed too however no thinning..Hair texture is more wavy so it helps to tame frizzy hair....Only relax 2x a year..but I will always be relaxed...Loved your video!!!

I have been relaxed for over 30 years, with no issues. One gets a relaxer to thin out the curl. I stretch my relaxers and only get one 2 times a year, so I am not bothered by going to the salon. My virgin hair responded well to water and blue magic products or ultra sheen, without any issues. Hair is organic and should be allowed to grow at its own rate with moisturizing, sealing, and care whether it is relaxed or not. I like to have different styles and depending upon the natural hair type there are limitations in style or a lot of time required to style. I also did press and curl on my virgin hair without any issues. Some of these naturalistas are just discovering their virgin hair and hopefully they are enjoying it.
AMEN! I have the same likes and dislikes as you. I hate having to set aside a specific day just to get my hair straight but I LOVE that afterwards it so much easier to manage and easier to Detangle cause I'm tender headed
I agree everything you said, Im now relaxed for a week after being natural for 5 years, I have two toddlers 2 and 3 yr old girls, I just don't have all the time and money I use to have so I love my new relaxed style. It's currently short but I'm happy to start this new journey and be like you sis.
Likes it’s easier to manage in my opinion.. dislikes my hair don’t take color very well.. there have been times where I wanted something different tried color but my hair fell out so bad so I have to keep it black!
I like that I can wear a hat on colder days. When I was natural, I wouldn't wear a hat because if I got hot, I'd just be stuck wearing it because if I took it off, I'd have the dreaded "hat hair" and have to start all over re-shaping/styling it. With a relaxer, if I take off a hat, it just falls back into place. #LittleThings
I know I'm late for this video but I dislike the chemicals to. and now I'm three months post relaxer I was going to go natural but I'm in college now it's hard to transition to natural hair I have so much new grow. I'm going to get the keratin treatment soon can't wait 💁🏽♀️🙌🏽😍✨💜🛍😆👑🌹
These were some nice likes and dislikes, the only thing I dislike about my relaxer is 1 hair thinning 2 using the chemicals ----------------------------------- But overall I do love my relaxer the things I do like about it it's very convenient wash and goes oh my Lord, everything but I just wanted my hair to be straight that's why I relaxed I've been relaxed 16 years now and I got a relaxer because my hair if I get it straight it will convert back within 2 days the women in our family have that 3B C hair if there's a 3D that's it LOL and it's summertime I here just shrivel up or sweat in the edges go first if it's down then the ends of it will go LOL so that's why I got a relaxer thank you ever so kindly God bless you🙏❤

I hate the way relaxed hair looks/feels when wet. But my hair grew a bit easier and i had less trouble with shed hair.

When it's wet I use my leave ins. When it's dry I use my styling potion and coconut oil before detangling. Tfw🧡
