The fact that his spare time he would fill up his van and drive to Bosnia, Romania, Albania to give to poor and children in foster care blankets and other items in need it shows what a great man he was! Rest in peace legend! I hope I will shake your hand in other universes somewhere
Joey knew the risks of his sport, but that did not stop him from being a true family man and a Gentle GENTLEMAN with a heart of gold. He is still loved by many
I never saw him race in person, that is my loss. The greatest real road racer who ever strapped on a helmet. The Dunlops are what real racing are all about, little money, very little fame but to real fans of road racing, they are GODS. Race In Peace in heaven joey, show them your tailpipes. That is all you ever did, GOD BLESS your family, they sacrificed so much, but some of us appreciate it. God speed, not that he could catch you on a bike. You were and always will be the king of the isle.
I have great memories of seeing Joey close up at the starting grid of the northwest 200. Thanks to Dad for for bringing me to the races when I was a kid. I didn't realize the history in the making that I was witnessing at the time. The Dunlops are Ulster Royalty. Loved and missed. God bless Michael and the remaining family.
My mum end dad were great fans of bike racing and I was taken to lots of races since 1949 perhaps even longer i remember the NSUs the Gileras (my favourite) Guzzies and heaps more but this video was fantastic along with the music sent a shiver down my spine and brought back some beautiful memories . My mum was the best female passenger i ever had on a bike
No one will ever take his place or overtake his ability...... he's a true legend and so are all the Dunlops!!! ..... like Michael's & Williams father died in the same race (north west 200) and that legend Micheal went and won the race for his father like a machine on a mission that's commitment very few posses!!! Rip joey, Robert & Micheal. god bless
my hero of all time William Joseph Dunlop 26 wins at the tt 24 wins at the ulster grand prix 13 wins at the north west 200 and a world champion 5 times in a row
There was only one Joey Dunlop One and only one. He was the greatest Road Racer to ever live and a one off human being quiet and humble. And a talented mechanic aswell as racer. "We will never see his like ever again" RIP Joey Dunlop 1952-2000 and as they say its better to burn out than to fade away.
that video give me goose bumps!! "legend" is not even a good enough word ! God rest your soul and the rest of your family who also died riding ....Robert & William also xoxo
To live a life.....doing the thing you Love.....to become the Greatest at that thing.....for everyone to Love and Respect you .....and to die in an instant doing that thing which you Love so much....is The Most Perfect Life of all.
Och he was a lovely man, a rider the likes of whom will never be seen again, Sheene Rossi Marquez mere beginners by comparison, he was a joy to watch on the track and off
Joey dunlop was a version of a man, that every other should aspire to be... kind, respectful, a family man. But above all other he loved the fight to win.
I was Blessed to watch him race on the ulster Gp and Nw200 from a little boy I usually just seen a yellow & red flash then came the tunnel of air getting ripped apart after him I miss the smell of 2 stoke on that old grandstand and rush seats of Dundrod lol
I was lucky enough to watch them all race since a little boy at the UGP dundrod, and nw 200 usually was not much but a blurr and rip of them cutting through the air. but was exhilarating

Best Joey tribute ever.
Totally agree and always thought that 🎉
Joey knew the risks of his sport, but that did not stop him from being a true family man and a Gentle GENTLEMAN with a heart of gold. He is still loved by many
The last sport of true racers! Real men! Pure passion!
Narrated by a legend for a legend. RIP Peter Kneale and Joey Dunlop - the TT has never been quite the same since 2000.

God sent his angel to show us incredible things and humility, and then He called him to ride back to Heaven from a humble road race in Estonia.
What an absolute legend was he! I love music I love editing ! Great video! Subscribe!
