Canadian here, going to Australia in May for 32 days and looking forward to it! I want to try to see Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart. Tasmania looks like it will be a major highlight of the trip!
If you would like to come and visit us that’s fine. Just don’t all come at once; pick up your rubbish while you’re here; read the notices before you venture into wilderness areas or you could die; and learn to drive on long, narrow, winding roads - there are no super highways here, nor do we want them ~
Great Video . Well Done . I have been traveling to Tasmania 3 times per year for the past 3 years . I can't get enough of such a beautiful , pure and fresh atmosphere . Tasmania is Paradise on Earth .
Hi Becky . Thank you for your swift reply . Yes indeed it is pure bliss . Its the only place i can go on holiday and truly feel so relaxed mentally and physical . Its like a therapy being in Tasmania . btw , my pic is of me hiking down Marion's Lookout at Cradle Mountain in Tasmania with " Crater Lake " behind me in the background . It was one of the most enjoyable treks i have done and the views trekking for a full day were breathtaking and the pics taken absolutely amazing . Im heading to Tasmania again this October and i will be going to Dover , Southport and as far south i can go in Tasmania at a place called Cockle Creek . I can't wait to be amongst the wilderness , peace and tranquility and the freshest oxygen in the world . Thanks again and take care and i hope you get to go many more times to the paradise of Tasmania .
andrew I agree, it’s probably the most wonderous and peaceful place I’ve ever visited. We missed out on the entirety of Cradle due to the weather! Waking up at 5am on Christmas Day wasn’t even enough to tempt her haha. Sounds like an awesome plan, enjoy! I hope I get to go back again many times. X
I've visited Tasmania several times and visited most of the sights you showed. It really is that beautiful, pristine and magnificient, the air quality in the national parks is the cleanest air in the world. At the wineglass bay just as it started to rain and everybody cleared out a school of dolphins were swimming up and down along the shore and nobody except for me and my partner was there to enjoy it.
That sounds soooooo dreamy! Glad you were able to witness something so magical. It really is one of those places where beauty rewards you so heavily if you’re willing to look for it. It’s a shame to hear how a lot of the inner city areas are becoming so toxic 😒
Nicole Gremion I know 😞 hopefully people can become better over time. Thankfully I didn’t see much trash during my stay and I pick up anything I find these days! Such a shame when people have no respect ✊
Thank you so much for showcasing my beautiful state in such an amazing clip. I’ve been to many of the places but there’s is so much more. Please come back one day. Looks like you saw some incredible places but truely any one that sees this and is thinking of coming to Tasmania do it cause it only gets better in person. 🥰🖤
Loved your video Becky. Best one I've seen todate. The quality, the music, the locations and scenery....so well done and covered. I holiday in Tassie often and love taking videos as well. Tassie has such a beautiful variety of natural wonders. Something new around every corner and wherever you turn. 10 out of 10.
I live here. I grew up here actually. The weather is miserable, Hobart has awful traffic, we’re the butt of the country’s jokes, it’s isolated as hell. But it’s pretty amazing and there are things here that are so unique I don’t think I’ll see them anywhere else in my life.
Thanks,l was in Tassie for the first time about 4 years ago, your stunning video has convinced me that I need to go back, and soon.Once again stunning video
I always forget how beautiful Tassie is but I don't travel far out of my city. Though went to coles bay one year and instantly fell in love, this made me wanna go back even more! ❤
Went to Tasi and was heartbroken by the massive logging and destruction of the forests we came to see. We were shocked went we went to a sky walk and how it was set up the loggers as a propaganda tool. We left. Then we tried the local fish and chips and were expecting a feast. What we got was scallops the size of marbles and what we honestly thought was carp for battered fish. Never say die, we kept positive and sought out the wineries. We stopped by one and put our head in. We tried a few and felt embarrassed as we aren't connoisseur's of fine wine and we didn't keep up with the over the top oversell of what was ordinary sauvignon blanc. We went home back to the mainland crushed. Tasi has been environmentally destroyed by slash and burn forestry and is nothing but a tourist trap.
Hi, this is so sad to hear! Where did you visit? The logging damage in Queenstown is very sad to see but that was just a tiny part of the journey. We concentrated on experiencing nature. The range of diversity across the land is breathtakingly beautiful. You should definitely give it another try should you get the chance!
Beautiful & That's only half of Tasmania on caught on Camera.Port Arthur, NWC Stanley The Nut Is a beautifu Spotl too The West Coast in the Winter is amazing when it snows
I am a Tasmanian myself. You had actually great weather, especially at Hartz Peak. Me and my mum tried, it was horrible weather that we couldn't get to the summit.
Great job guys. My wife andI climbed the needles and while we was enjoying the view a wedge tailed eagle flew up and checked us out. A once in a life time experience. You don't get that from sitting in front of the tv.
Becky Alice Coe and I was live on Facebook and turned it off about 30 seconds before hand 🙈 That would of been painfull and awkward getting back down.... Great job once again.

Nick Austin ah I bet!!! The only underwater footage I had was lost because apparently I don’t know how to use a GoPro and never started recording 😂😂😂 next time! I left my heart in the beautiful place
People keep asking me why we are moving to Tasmania, this is why, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world 😍 We are hoping to settle in Maydena in the Derwent Valley.😍
Really nice video. I was surprised to see it was mostly shot in an iPhone 7. I wouldn’t have guessed that the footage could be so good from a smart phone! It’s how you use something and not what you have that’s important it seems. 👍😀
Hi Becky . Cradle Mountain is amazing . I will definitely be going there again some time next year .I have been there 3 times and seriously you can spend months trekking through the so many tracks . When you go , plan out your treks on a map and get approximates of the return trips so you can achieve whichever tracks you choose to do . Just be mindful of the sudden weather changes in the Cradle mountain area as its an alpine region and unfortunately there are yearly fatalities from accidents and hyperthermia or dehydration . The sun could be out and then it could change to snowing . I had that during a summer in October 2016 . I hope you get to go back to Tasmania very soon again and many more times over the years . Now ssshhhh , don't let too many outsiders now about this Paradise so it starts to become too busy and congested . Hahaha . Take care and all the best .
It would be great if the mainlanders stopped buying all the houses and turning them into air b&b's, it's made rent prices skyrocket, homelessness has increased immensely. The price of living has increased, very limited jobs. I've lived here in Hobart my whole life and I've never seen it this bad. Yes it's beautiful but because everyone keeps moving here we're running out of housing! Something needs to change and fast. P.s. it's bloody cold all the time because we're so close to Antarctica. In short, please come to visit and contribute to the economy, but don't move here because we're at capacity.
Hobarts Hospitals are fucked too, limited beds and waiting times are horrendous, the main businesses that still strive are those in Salamanca markets cause tourists just pour their money into it. It's good to see the council hasn't overrun it with bigger companies trying to make a quick dollar, our businesses are very well looked after.
Tasmania, is amazing because I live in Tasmania. We are safe and schools back! And no cases. Maybe You Should Try Tasmania Don’t Think Tasmanian’s | Australians Pefetic we may be an island but we’re amazing ❤️👍❤️

So true! So many people here leave though cause they get sick of it and it's like howwww
When you are born and brought up in a place, you may not realise its beauty. Be away from there then you will know what you are missing.

Nicole Gremion I know 😞 hopefully people can become better over time. Thankfully I didn’t see much trash during my stay and I pick up anything I find these days! Such a shame when people have no respect ✊
Nicole Gremion so true. It was better when it was just joked about. It is not as nice now.
Most saddest part is having no blood line of true indigenous Tasmanian alive today. How wicked can we be for our greed.
