All it is is the sign for extinction. The fact that Extinction Rebellion co-opted the sign is much like the Nazis taking the Sanskrit hooked cross and making it the swastika.
It isn’t political in nature. It is just a warning that certain species are nearing extinction if we keep going down our current path. (Over fishing, deforestation, etc)

LOOOOVE THIS ONE. The cover is absolutely PERFECT for it. Honestly, it feels like one of the best pieces of cover our choices as well for Greenpeace I’ve ever seen. This artist has also done some pretty good work that shows great support for the people of Myanmar against the corrupt military dictatorship. I can imagine it being pretty good in Hong Kong as well, if the fight was still strong enough over there. Unfortunately, it will take a lot of huge effort and numbers to get back to what they once were.
