Tsekpo is the name of a village of the region of Yoto at the South of Togo. This song is somehow about challenges in life and fellowship. I am a Tsekpoto.
Tsekpo is part of Watsi people. Watsi is a derivative of a story in its journey the people has consider necessary to make a break, a stop. That's why the word 'watsi' meaning we stay.

Clement GAVI Apparently the Ewe spoken cannt be understood by the Ewes in Ghana and Togo but I think I can understand majority of what these ppl are saying. Could you plz tell me how much percent u think a Ghanaian Ewe can undestand if they meet the Beninoir who speaks Ewe. Thanks u

I would say 50%. Depending on the age of the person. An elder person would probably understand more things.

I think that even between Mina (Gengbe) dialect spoken in Lomé, Togo and what we can call regular Ewe, spoken in Ho, in Ghana there is quite some differences

Ewegbe is deep but I can understant every words of there songs. 97% % though Ewe from Togo. So Kpade s’ are watchi, never knew that.
