This just further solidifies my belief that mega construx would do a phenomenal fallout line if they had the license
I’ve always said they would nail Star Wars too from the figure point of view. I love Lego Star Wars, don’t get me wrong, I’d just love to see what MEGA could do with it.
@@brickman1175 The ship designs would translate much better, Mega loves making custom parts! Imagine a modular clone trooper armor similar to the spartan armor!
@@CodedHumor Yep, I agree. I think they’d do and awesome job with both vehicles and figures alike. It’s never going to happen though as long as Lego wants to keep the licence sadly.

With how Bethesda is, I'm surprised they haven't. I'd say an Elder scrolls series would do wonders.
A really good set! They should make a part 2 of the set that connects with it, they can also add the Arbiter as the co-op player with other flood characters or add crazed marines from the campaign.

This a beautiful set for those OG halo 3 fans who grew up playing this game and through this level over and over again!
A great set. I would have liked if the shipping container was brown or gray like the Traxus containers in the actual level, but it's fine. It would be cool if Mega gives us some factory workers to go with the set.
I was expecting a rusty red/brown for the container but I like the green too. They could sell an expansion pack with figures and another colour container.
I have no megabloks and didn’t care to collect but this has definitely got me interested and purchasing one. I mainly collect Halo Jazwares, mcfarlane, joyride, and spartan collection but I think I’m about to add megabloks to my halo collection this set was too awesome to pass up
Be careful, Mega is a very expensive rabbit hole to start down 😂
I think my only real complaint with this set is I would have included a few more Combat forms. Maybe a couple of Marines on top of the Elites already in the set.
This set amongst all the new sets that have recently been released, this is my #1. Loved it so much I after the first I purchased 3 more. Not even for the figures. The structure itself is so customizable. Leaving nothing but endless possibilities.
Imagine a Covenant themed terrain set utilizing the printed pieces from the Ghost of Requiem!
I don’t think this has ever been done, Forerunner and Human only to my knowledge.

I will say it, Mega over Lego, not only Mega is a lot cheaper but their set's are just so much better in my opinion
Ive recently kind of stopped buying lego (last sets I did buy were some older sealed 2000-2010 sets, getting the last bionicle sets I wanted to collect, parting out some power miners sets, and then I have bought some of the newer speed champion sets and a few star wars sets (but those have gotten stupid expensive). I just started getting into Halo mega now instead. I had some from way back in 2009 when it first released but the quality wasnt great and I think ive either gotten rid of or lost everything I did have. The figures, customizability, and detail nowadays is INSANE and the price is so much better especially in todays economy... It sucks that all of my local targets and walmarts have STOPPED carrying halo mega (now when I FINALLY decided to give it a go). I can only find stuff at my local meijer and krogers. Ive mainly only been getting halo 3 related stuff though. Lots of grunts, the new floods, jackals, etc. I want to get some halo 3 style elites and brutes but its definitely much harder / less common...
Man, I can not wait to get my hands on this! I’m really hoping the MEGA is gonna put this on Mattel Creations for better, easier distribution. But all in all, I can barely contain my excitement!
I hope you find a way to get one, it’s definitely a future classic.

Unless your in the usa this set 250 off scalpers right now plus 40 to 50 shippin, Not worth it at all and I live in canada too, hell even chinese reprints of flood figures go for 100 dollars on after market and being a Collector since 2009. Mattel is always joke with disturbing even before mega joined them.. in 11 plus years we got like 4 or 5 flood sets tops. But here have generic spartan and elite mark whatever for 5000th time. I was shocked they was sooo generous with grunt figures during infinites launch wave. Good luck seriously even I might have to cough up that price tag for this set. Not fun.

Sadly I stripped the MOC to use the parts for other stuff. I can however say that this set is about 50% smaller than my MOC to give you an idea of size comparison. If I do get more sets I’ll definitely cover it in a video 👍
It's really good to see that this set has been readily available for you UK Mega fans. This NEEDED to be available and Mega has set good groundwork for it.

Absolutely, this could be the first step in reestablishing a foothold in the UK market, I really do hope so.
Everything I produce is filmed with my iphone 7 & 11.
I odered this a couple daus ago and i don't think I've ever been more excited for a set mega or Lego!

Man I want this set so badly! I love the structure, and the figures are just… spectacular man! I also love all of the weapon crates and smaller structures, makes it feel more alive! Great review and keep up the awesome content!

It sure is, they don’t come along all that often either so I’m going* to try to get a good few too. Although Amazon UK have just put the price up from £75 to £100 for some reason, hopefully they’ll drop it back down when the restock arrives.

@@brickman1175 YT for some reason keeps removing my comments even though I've said practically nothing that would warrant removal..anyway was saying that the quality for Mega Blocks look pretty good..not bought lego really for a long time when I kept noticing that their bricks and pieces would start to develop hair line cracks...a little friendly tip though for the fork lift truck regarding the forks...try (kiki fix loose joints action figure) it's like non permanent glue and can be removed quite easily by finger nail or cocktail stick etc..the stuff dries clear and adds an extra layer to hold things more firmly.
@@theonemasterwarhero TH-cam has been a hot mess for years now, it’s anybody’s guess what’s going on behind the algorithms closed doors. At least this one got through. MEGA has certainly come on leaps and bounds since the early years, it will be interesting to see what the next few years will bring now it looks like they are finally getting on top of their distribution issues. Still a long way to go but they’re getting there. Thanks for the tip on the glue, haven’t heard of that before but sounds like great stuff.

Heres a idea for if you have a extra fork lift take that an the Blue Exo suit. I think it could be enough to make a Alien Power loader From Alien 2.

The flood splatter on Chief doesn't quite look as good as I'd hoped and the lack of flame piece is disappointing but other than that it's a phenomenal set, MEGA knocked it out of the park.

I’ve concluded that it’s just too expensive to buy Pokémon sets in bulk for foliage. I5 is the easiest way but far to expensive for the average bear sadly. Thanks for the suggestion.

I certainly hope this can be a reality Brickman. I cant even find one yet that isnt double the retail. That or when it opens up for sale, gets immediately sold out. I hope its just bc its early and distribution isnt in full swing just yet. This was one i was REALLY looking forward to but im worried its availability will be limited. Everyone keeps pointing to the anniversary pack as proof it will be widely available after a theoretical restock. I press X to doubt. Maybe im being cynical but im getting tired of playing the "will it/won't it" game.
I hear you, loud and clear. It’s so strange that after about 6 years of being in your shoes we in the UK have been able to purchase this set readily, for retail, direct from Amazon UK, and have been able to for about 3-4 weeks. I’m not saying that to rub it in, I’m saying it to highlight the fact that something ‘is’ changing with MEGAs distribution. Will it last? Who knows, but it’s a welcome step in the right direction for us UK MEGA fans.
Hopefully it will be heavily restocked in the US and Mexico as you guys make up the the bulk of the remaining loyal fans/collectors and are there for the ones that have been very patiently keeping the lights on for MEGA whilst they try to sort out making their product available globally again.
Fingers crossed you’ll be able to get your hands on it soon as I know all to well about playing the will I or won’t I get it game, frustrating to say the least.

I'm glad you all are finally getting some decent distribution, I've heard all the horror stories of trying to get Mega out of the states. I've been resorting to buying cheap old/incomplete sets off ebay and Mercari bc I can find almost nothing in physical retail (nothing that I've already bought multiple of anyhow). I do hope it works out for all Mega fans and I really do want them to succeed as a company.
There is still hope! Kevin confirmed that there will be restocks just like we saw the anniv pack restocked. He said he doesn't know when yet but it will come.

Biggest issues I have with this set is that the pieces are too large and some of plastic colours don't match. This comes off more of a model set than a block set.

This set looks great, but the price tag is really turning me away. Just seems way too expensive for what we're getting. $90 - $100 is not easy top cough up (CAD)
MEGA have confirmed that this set is due to run through 2024 so there is a good chance i5 will get discounted at some point. Although it is MEGA so you never can tell.

Only if you have the cash, I think if you like Flood this is a must have, that way you can add the Halo Heroes series 18 Marine flood figures to it when they release properly. Not to mention any other Flood sets they might release in the future.

I really miss Mega construx sets but they just became way too sparse to keep up with. I have COD, Destiny, Assassins, MOTU and GOT as well as Halo. Even some pokemon. ITS JUST TOO HARD AND EXPENSIVE now.
