I think it's safe to say that this is a clean, well-designed original suit from a chinese indie company that's not leaning to 'gundam-but-not-gundam' silhouette. It is not overdone with spikes, well-thought weaponry, and the lines are cohesive. I would love to see more of something like this.
@@lucaseichler3140 yeah most didn't know the full product name, got "Legend of Star General" at the front. People have been mistaking Bailu and Aobing as third party/Gundam bootleg, when it's not. It's a China comic model kits made by Chinese company, official.

@@stealthexecutor563 Did a bit of dig in and I've only found the Hemoxian's NZS-05-3 Thor Non-Zero which is pretty cool. All other kits have been listed on Pre-Order since 2022 in Gundamit... so yeah, there's that too

I dont know a single clue of mecha , gundam series but this military type wing mecha with 4 war drone , dual sword and long gun (sniper?) make me drool.
Probably one of the best looking 3rd party kits that actually peaked my interest and isn't an overdesigned "totally not Gundam". Although it is very inspired looking by the Impulse Gundam, Exia and the TSFs from Muv Luv. Regardless, it is still distinct enough. EDIT: Remove Exia and replace it with Astray
Not hating on the kit itself, I too think this is a great kit. But the people who keep saying these 3rd party are absolutely wrecking Bandai, Bandai will soon go out of business, Bandai will be replaced by 3rd party companies, etc... , wtf are you thinking? Bandai, no matter what shit they release, from trash to top tier stuffs, reel in gold most of the time. So many Transformers 3rd party companies out there that produce high quality Transformers figure, is Hasbro out of business yet? And let's be honest for a moment here, while original 3rd party mech designs do exist, the majority of them just steal bits from various Gundam designs, glue them together into a mobile suit then add tons of spikes and edges to cover it up.
Yeah, no matter how good 3rd party gets, they'll never natch the reliability and quality control of a Bandai kit, they're by far thebbest I've worked with across a lot of brands in a lot of ways
I owned Bandai MG Unicorn once, and my goodness, was it terrible. The arm panel that connects the shield keeps dropping off. The knee dongs never stay where they are supposed to. Bits and pieces constantly fall off. If there was something good about bandai products, I am just not seeing it.
