I love the idea of the first challenge. Kerry just roboticly counting down while Ryan slowly puts on armor and takes out a sword and everyone else not understanding whats going on untill there are like 20 seconds left.
It took me entirely too long to realize that the lava Gavin fell into this episode is the same lava he dumped there during the first King Ryan when he didn't need it anymore, and that it just waited there for 28 episodes. Clever girl.
there's too much to comment on in just the first twenty minutes of this let's play. the fact that Ryans first round is him murdering everyone. how perfect Kerry's voice is for the deadly countdown. rays scream of absolute terror when Ryan found him. "Unsubscribe!" this is my favorite king video omg.

To be fair, Geoff gave him a copy of Achievement City to actually make challenges about a week and a half in advance. He could literally make things on his own time and playtest them. Didn't do that with anyone else.

Fun Fact: The lava that Gavin fell in at 19:20 was placed by him in episode 61 at 19:25. Coincidentally, it was during the first reign of Ryan and it occurred right after a round finished.

I absolutely love Kerry in this video and the role that Ryan gave him. It's a fun new element to the King series. Even though it was in February and I used the word "new".
It's fun to look back and see how they tried to make things happen with the cast... Back when they tried to keep Kerry, even made him a place to live, then the comments got to them and they let Kerry go back to the writer's room.
Ryan never showed disdain for the others just shouting it out though, and to paraphrase him, he's the mad king and he can do whatever the fuck he wants. He was pleased with Mogar's bloodlust, and so Mogar won.
