Well, to be completely fair... the issue is that she is there with the other members of Berryz Kobou to directly compare her to. Kanon and Minegishi Minami have the same issue-- they look heavy in their own group, but compared to to average Japanese girls their age...?

タイトル聞いた時、もっと変わってるインパクトのある曲かと思ったけど、曲を聞いたらそうでもなかった。
I was really hoping this would be a more explicit calling-out of impossible standards of beauty in Japanese society ... I can see where it is probably leaning very carefully in that direction, but it still toes the line. I'm not incredibly familiar with Berryz but I feel a little let down that it wasn't an outright slam on the structure in society that encourages 130 million people to be super diet-minded! There was such potential by the songwriting team behind this to go there, and they never quite did it. :( That said, I do enjoy the song -- I just feel like it could have gone that extra step.
