I received your book Christmas 2021 and love it. Thanks for showing how you make your heart bowls. Looking forward to many more videos. By the way the mug I bought from you last September is my favourite!!!
Hi Aaron, thanks for the kudos 😊 very grateful for any help in getting the word out about my book so, thanks so much for introducing your students to it and the videos. I am fundraising to purchase artist housing for the Legacy Project and I have a long way to go to reach that lofty goal! Each book sold means more royalties for the project and that makes my heart grow two sizes 😁❤️🦊
I love your heart bowls. Thank you so much for showing us how to do them, although it might be more difficult when trying myself ... It looks so easy with your hands, but in fact you are a wonderful expert! Would you like to share which weight you are using for throwing? Is it 1 lb or less / more? Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Andrea, glad you are enjoying the videos 😊 I don’t weigh the clay for the heart bowls as I like having them in different sizes, I’m guessing these are around 1 lb of clay. Happy heart making ❤️👍
Funny you should mention that, I just did a short video talking about how I glazed some of the pieces in my latest firing. The heart bowl you mentioned here gets touched on briefly as I only had one piece in the firing and it was a refire to seal up a ground run. However I talk about how I glaze the Candace black and other than the dipping time and sg. it’s the same. That video should be up next week and next time I glaze with the Mashiko oil spot I’ll make another video talking about that glaze. It won’t be for a few months though as I have other firing programs to do first before I can go back to the 02 program. ❤️🦊
All these shots are amazing. You can tell she has so much passion
thanks…I do love my job! ❤️🦊🐕🐩

Thank you....:)
Why you not change the shape once you finish throwing them? You don't trim the rim anyway.
They would be too soft to work comfortably with at that stage. 😊🦊
Where can I get on of these bowls?
