Man I’m so proud of Bette. After everything they went through, although Bette wasn’t perfect she always chose Tina in the end. So literally when Tina tries her classic indecisive sh*t by saying, “Bette” as if to elicit a more emotional verbal response. Bette Just reaches for her, looks in her eyes and says, “I’m really happy for you”. As if to say, I’m not going to make this about me like how you accused me of being, inside my heart is shattered, but if this IS TRULY what you want I’m gonna let you go, get out the way and face the fear to put myself back together again. The depth of Jennifer’s understanding of this character through her performance is amazing! This shows the true meaning of the saying, “If you love someone, let them go”. Bette’s love for Tina is SO DEEP!
Superb acting in this scene. Love and completely identify with the way Bette/Jennifer tries to distract herself from breaking down by reaching for her glass and then the bottle. So true to life . She needs that time to try and compose herself. I also love how Tina/Laurel looks at her when she sees her mixing her wine. She knows Bette is struggling at this point but doesn’t make a huge deal out of it. I’m still optimistic that these two will get the ending they deserve

Something must have happened to make Tina feel she had to run away to find herself. Because when we last saw Tibette in season 6, they were completely in love with each other, were on equal footing, and looking forward to a fresh start in New York. They were going to get married (which they did and I'm pissed we were robbed of that moment) and were going to adopt. Bette even said she was happy to stay home with the kids and let Tina support them. Tina ran away from Bette and her daughter to find herself and fell in love with someone else. And now a year after being divorced, Tina is engaged to marry the very woman she abandoned her family for. I want Tibette back together. Their story isn't finished.
Hopefully they will get back together but Tina needs to stop running away from reality she want find nobody meaning anyone that can measure up to Bette.

Back in season 5 when Tina was in love with with Bette, she was able to still enjoy herself and date around, but Bette is absolutely incomplete and crushed without Tina, even though she tries not to show it, I always thought Better loved Tina more.

Ppl that bc of there position/situation will never result in a clean/true relationship. Tina also is the 1 who's pushed her into the arms of potential soul mates. She did it with Jodie & Pipa.

Well, my heart just broke for the loml Bette. I have never shipped Tina and Bette but I respected what their relationship was and meant, so this definitely made me feel emosh. I sincerely hope that Bette can heal, find a way to love herself again, and then maybe find a love that makes her feel secure and whole and happy once more or even better to be happy, secure and whole by herself.
Don't worry friends....it's definitely not over. Bette and Tina will definitely sleep together again. The producers know that's what the fans want to see lol. It's about to get even more interesting next season.

No not just you. I rooted for them most of the time during the original series but I truly liked Bette and Jodi. However, tibette got it together and I was cool they've worked on themselves and they're solid. Well, my heart just broke for the loml Bette. I have never shipped Tina and Bette but I respected what their relationship was and meant, so this definitely made me feel emosh. I sincerely hope that Bette can heal, find a way to love herself again, and then maybe find a love that makes her feel secure and whole and happy once more or even better to be happy, secure and whole by herself.

I just want the writers to give Jennifer something more to stretch her range. The Tina story arc is OVER! I wish people would let it go. Allow this new iteration of the L Word to stand on its own without rehashing something from 10 years ago.

Since the og series I’ve liked Tibette... but my feelings have changed. Bette will always have love for Tina. Yeah Bette’s made mistakes but her love for Tina is constant, unwavering. Tina on the other hand, not so much. You can be great parents, good/decent friends... but that doesn’t translate into a health relationship. I think it’s good they are finally going their separate ways (at least we think)... it’s just me though
No not just you. I rooted for them most of the time during the original series but I truly liked Bette and Jodi. However, tibette got it together and I was cool they've worked on themselves and they're solid. This time around I can't even hope for it cuz Bette shouldn't continue entering a relationship where only her love and devotion is unwavering. It's looking a little too much like insanity at the point.
