Well done Harvey for speaking to Jean in the correct way calmly and quietly. That was nasty from Jean though "No point feeling sorry for ourselves" all I ever do is listen to you. It's as if Jean is fed up of Harvey or something. Also Jean dosnt always listen to Harvey when he broke up with her and she went clubbing Harvey didn't want to go Jean went anyway and didn't listen. I'm pleased that penny is finally dropping for Harvey hopefully he'll realise not what is more important which is family. This is what it's all been about keeping quiet from Jean not recognising her episodes because he wants to protect her. Jean is literally accusing Harvey of lying about Aaron because of Stacey. It's so good to see Harvey finally believe Stacey as well 👏🏼👏🏼. I hope Jean really does love Harvey once she has recovered from her episode.
I get the feeling she might be projecting her feelings about herself onto Harvey. She doesn't want to admit she's manic and her Bipolar isn't being managed. doesn't want the pity or the sadness She want's to ignore it. Which is why she reacts so badly to Stacey and mentions of Stacey, because Stacey is trying to bring her back to reality and get her to face up to what is happening
Jean displaying no empathy for Harvey's situation, is a big wake-up call for Harvey. Jean has no idea the implications involved where Aaron is concerned, he has many enemies and there is trouble ahead. Harvey at last will understand Stacey's concerns for Jean.
I don't like aaron but no parent should ever have too receive a call too say their child has been stabbed or lose their child. plus it was a nice scene showing harvey and stacey finally get on and the penny's finally dropped. I know she isn't well but he would never lie about aaron being in hospital
Jean's mental health has always been an issue for as long as the character has been on the show. There have been periods of stability but it's obvious that it's declining again and everyone is now taking notice.......
The Slaters are awful people. Lily is an awful human being who thinks she can get pregnant at an early age and then Stacey not sitting her down and give her a reality check of what consequences she will face.

@@SapphireStar23 pretty much. I’ve never liked Jean 2.0 (2011 onwards) and the seeds for her growing narcissism were hidden by her increasing vulnerability. That’s why it got worse over the years and Jean become more and more toxic (and not in an entertaining, realistic bipolar way like we first saw - that was genuine rawness and severe illness, not malignant toxicity). Remember her gaslighting Stacey over the key and the way she had everyone running around her when she first found out about her cancer (and chose to get defensively-selfish)?
