From Touhou Fan-Made "Book of Star Mythology".
It is stated that it's ???'s theme in the music room. so I use '???' instead of 'Fuma's Last Spell'.
As you know, "Fuma Mishandra" isn't her name because of the seal's influence
that made her unable to remember anything but these name, are what was left in her memory.
That's why I believe "???" is "her real name".

Reading the translation of what she says before the last spell starts, and how the name of the spell is "Fuma Mishandra", I think it's at this point she actually adopts Mishandra into her name. Saying "I shall dub myself--" and then the name of the spell shows up, stating her completed name.
Basically, what I'm saying is that even though Mishandra is in the UI and all, she doesn't actually think of or accept that as her name until she uses this spell. Before that all that she had was "Fuma".
I was half-way through the whole final attack and realized that this is a TLC-MPP-RSS tribute.
I nearly had a heart attack. That was just too awesome to realize.

氏政は小田原城にたてこもり、秀吉の大軍を迎え撃ったが、秀吉の兵糧攻めに合い、無条件降伏した時に詠んだ辞世の歌です。
最後まで秀吉と戦った武将として残る名を桜の花と紅葉にたとえています。
意味・・桜の花よ、吹きしきる春の風を恨まないでくれ。花が残る春や、紅葉が残る秋がある訳がないのだから。
花が散り、紅葉が散るのは自然の成り行きである。人間もいつかは死ぬものであり、自分もいつかは死ぬものだと、諦観した心境です。
注・・吹きと吹く＝吹きに吹く。「と」は同じ動詞の間に用いて、意味を強調する語。
な・・そ＝動作を禁止する語。どうか・・してくれるな。

I think that there’s something else to this spell too, something else that links it with TLC/MPP/RSS that’s not just the patterns. In all 3 of those games, the phases leading up to the final phase of the final spell and one time including it) feature the final bosses allies (and one time an enemy) doing their own attacks at you, to aid them as their friends.
Fuma is doing the exact same thing here- summoning the power of those 3 so that they can help her, going even a level beyond. It’s a love letter to Ido’s brand of final boss.

I already know what the Extra Stage and Extra Stage Boss themes are like. And they are pretty good. But the one thing I noticed on the EX boss theme is that it has a bit of Azuma Himefuji in it.

I played BoSM in Hard mode, and I somehow got infinite lives. I reached her stage, I dont know how to explain how hard it was. Also, stage 4 (imo) was the easiest. I used Sanae, shot type B. But this fangame was actually very good. 10/10 recommended if you ignore the difficulty.

I wish to know what the counter meant to say. It accumulates, but I don't know how it affects the battle.
it's the demon counter. you know fuma is (related to) the Solomon's alleged 73rd demon who rules over 72 demons. when you shoot down the circle in that phase, the counter increased. When the counter reach 73, the true last spell starts.

I always thought that the counter was actually the number of the page Fumi is currently on, as durning the barage of recollections she would supposedly frantically cycle through the book of star mythology until she found a page about herself, the 73th demon.

@@lecorbak It’s called “Fuma Mishandra”. “Fuma”, being her first name and a name that was given to her (not sure if by her or by someone else) because Fuma isn’t her real name, and “Mishandra”, for being Soloman’s alleged 73rd demon that was completely made up by 2chan though Fuma picked it because it seemed fitting

Because in game you hear it for like 2 minutes or less. This is her final spell attack, not her main boss theme. Also it's looped here lol.
