The SV's problem is the sound. It makes less noise on the top-end because they leaned out the fuel on top. It might be more efficient but the LP640 sounds much better.

I had the honor of seeing one of these at Ferrari of San Antonio with my Dad. It was a matte black SV with the large logo towards the rear. It was an E gear and it was parked right outside. It was gorgeous ill never forget it.❤️

The last one was allegedly a red, manual model with the big wing, being sent to Switzerland. I was told it was the 6th manual SV in existence, and the last SV ever made at 186/350. How accurate is this? I don't know, but the person who informed me of this seemed very well informed.
I have never understood why people put such a high value on low mileage vehicles the more a vehicle sits the worse off you are seals and hoses dry rot if they don’t go through regular heat cycles so if you buy an older low mileage car you’re gonna have to spend more money fixing it then you would a higher mileage car that’s been driven unless your planing on not driving it but these vehicles were meant to driven not sitting collecting dust
I have a question, maybe you can help me. How do you go about researching how many of a specific vehicle are left and in good standing as far as running and registered and how many are/were/ have been wrecked?

I had the chance to drive within the Murcielago SV as a passenger in 2009, it was the first SV delivered to Germany. That noise even with stock exhaust was outstanding. But it had that E-Gear Transmission which is quite slow, i would prefer a manual transmission at any time😊

John and Ed publicly announced they would pay $2m for a manual 670 (even for a US spec which is less rare because 3 were made and none of which are in Ad Personam colors like the 2 EU cars).
This car has always been my dream car when it's comes to Lamborghini, as a kid i remember having a full scale toy version in orange. For me as well as many car enthusiasts worldwide this will always be the goat car when it comes to Lamborghini, this car is really rare unlike the aventador as well as huracan models.
im more curious how owners buy tires if Pirelli hasn't made them in some time. My 997 uses a weird 265/40/18 and that was a pain to find tires for so I can't imagine what its like for Lambo owners
Im in total agreement about it being the last of the analog Supercars,well V12 Lamborghini that is. It looks so damn good in Black without the Huge SV on the side. It should totally get the small SV door decal or none at all. I think the other spoiler that was available was like a duckbill one on the old 911s.
John Termerian THE Lamborghini historian didn't know that only 186 LP 670's were ever built and 28 were right hand drive, tut tut tut. Although I did learn that only 5 manual were ever built, so kudos to that!!

@@Bug4lifeEd Bolian (Vinwiki) has been sent all of the available information and documents regarding Murcielago vin numbers. After significant research he came up with 309 units built. This is likely the most accurate estimate as no one else has ever seen the paperwork the Ed has at his disposal.
I asked in Stradman's video, but can you do a series or a dedicated full length video to restoring his Countach? I would love to see more of the restoration process on the cars, I thi k that is very cool to watch. But I love the Murci...the Bat...made famous by Batman when he crashed into a limousine with it. I think the Murci gets a bad rap because of the way some people on TH-cam have gotten them and trash them or trash on them.

The Gearbox adds character, the slow yet neck-breaking shifts are what make the experience same with the Aventador for that matter
