The inspiring song in Kiswahili "Healing on the Sabbath" .... has a message on Jesus Christ is Lord, Also of the Sabbath. ‘Take up your bed and walk.’ Jesus Healed A Man at the Pool of Bethesda on The Sabbath [John 5 ] Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” [John 5:6-7 ] Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. [John 5:8-9 ] “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.” [Mark 2:27-28] and [Luke 6:5] Activities of the 1997 Makongeni Camp Meeting are being shared here. This is the year 2020 - 24 years since the 1st Camp Meeting that took place at Makongeni SDA Church on 02nd August 1997. It was the last (closing) day of the 1st Makongeni CAMP MEETING. Held on Sabbath 02/08/1997, the attendance was quite big and so many activities took place: Main Preaching was given by Pastor Alfred Momanyi Rosasi and so many people gave their life to the Lord Jesus Christ. The sermon is coming up shortly. Praise and worship team comprising members from various church choirs including host church Makongeni SDA Choir, Kaloleni SDA Choir, South B Church Choir, Viwanda SDA Choir, Lungalunga Church Choir, Bahati SDA Choir, Muthurwa Chuch Choir, Shauri Moyo Church Choir, and many more - performing during the worship session. Is June Ogolla the Choirmaster. I used to watch them sing at KENCOM in the evenings. What a blessing that I still carry with me to date. Is this choir still singing? Is June still a choirmaster? Would love to follow his more recent songs, inspirational!
