    The idea of flowers blooming on the roof sounds cool, but I’m not sure about the ceiling snakes and mice.

      Modern waterproofing materials would seal out critters unless maybe an angry rat comes along.

    My grandmother was a Soddie in the Oklahoma Territory. I would have loved for her to tell me more about this, but she was so little back then and now she's gone. Its neat that I get this chance to have a peak back into her world. Thank you.

    Did you build the museum around it or really carefully pick the whole thing up?

      I was able to tour this museum about a year & a half ago. The museum was built around the sod house to protect & preserve it.

    I love this! The plow and cutting tool would have helped a lot! In Ireland, they use hand tools, but the idea is the same, also their houses have more room. I love the clay that he put inside.... and how was this moved? What an interesting undertaking!
