No zipper, no elastic - this way of sewing pants is so unique
You may not know, but these pants are traditional to people in Shan state in north east Myanmar, and also some parts of Thailand. They usually sew this pattern in brown, blue or black fabrics cottons and hemps, but it's undeniably exactly the same. If you would like to try sewing these, I hope you can discover more about Shan peoples when you are making these pants and learn more about where this traditional design comes from. Enjoy!

Человеческое тело имеет определённые особенности строения. У него есть выпуклости на которые нельзя не обращать внимание. Выкройка брюк строится с учётом этих особенностей. Задняя половина брюк в поясе должна быть выше, чем передняя. Иначе изделие при ходьбе и сидении на стуле будет сползать и мешать движению.

Такой свободный крой не даст никуда сползать этим штанам. Просто шьются они из лёгких тканей и немного не так.

Крой брюк неправильный, извините это для женщин плоских без поп, и вообще фигня, а не брюки👎🏻 Каждый раз будет все время подтягивать штаны, чтоб не потерять их😄
This is an easy way to make a pants. But it only works for someone with a small size without curves. For curvy people the back needs to be 3 cm higher than the front or these pants wil ride up when you walk in them.
For me with my curves the difference between front and side is about 6cm, but I think this way of cutting can be upgraded with this data.

I believe this style is referred to as 'fisherman pants'..I have a few pairs...they have seen me at my largest, size 24 Australian, and now that I've lost considerable weight I am still able to wear them, only more so the way you showed at the end...very handy style for those times when one is bloating and then again when one is feeling slimmer...

@@user-rz4un3yd6l а это разница в менталитете. Мы всегда говорим правду, даже если её не очень приятно слышать. Во многих странах так не принято, будут смотреть на муху и с улыбкой называть её бабочкой, лишь бы не обидеть. Поэтому русских считают грубыми, хотя мы, скорее, честные и прямолинейные))

Отличный мешок получился.главное-быстро, без наметки, швы на глазок. Оверлок фантастическим образом где-то материализовался . Главное, без хлопот- символ современной жизни.
Подобные штаны придуманы давно. В Азиатских странах носят из лёгких хлопковых тканей. Но там две пары завязок, гораздо удобней. Это не слишком удачный аналог.
После войны в бабушкиной деревне так вырезали и сшивали вручную штаны , носили под платьем, кроили точно также : перед и зад одинаково , подвязывали тоже веревочкой.🙄🤕🎃

Более ста лет назад подобным было белье для не богатых. Крой одинаков перед/спинка. Шов седения не прошит до конца, чтобы не стеснять движения и "по нужде" удобнее. Верёвочка вместо привычной резинки на поясе.
This style is AMAZING for toddlers. Both my kids got YEARS of wear out of one little linen pair of fisherman's pants - they just become shorts later on.

These are Thai fishermen pants style. They’ve been sewing these for decades.

А уникальность в том, что слонка одинаковая и спереди, и сзади? Как садиться будете? Вероятно, хитрость в том, что без резинки они будут просто сползать, а не рваться на попе...

Из категории - слепить по быстрому и потом всё время поддерживать руками чтоб не упало.
Подвязать мешок верёвочкой, весь скукоженный верх загнуть наружу и делать вид что это такая красивая оборочка) Ну или как у Автора - сверху прикрыть длинной футболкой, чтоб никто не догадался что там творится))

I bought some similar trousers that are not stitched down the outside and never wear them because they fall open when I sit down. Now I can adapt them and wear them after 20 years of hanging at the back of my wardrobe!

I bought 2 pairs of pants that were even simpler than these, from J Peterman, that were made in Indonesia and batiked. (i was recovering from painful abdominal surgery.) You do not need the abdominal band or the tie. You just need for the sides to flair out at the top to use them as ties over your folds. Mine were very comfortable and after I healed, I used them for years as pajammie bottoms.
