When i first started jamming this song, i was in the one car garage. Now, years later Im calling from cloud 9 still roaming this earth. Fantastic artist through and through.
+Matt Olson lmfao, how? met him in Florida last year and he was the nicest guy to everyone at the meet and greet. hopped right off the stage and led everyone to the merch tent and stayed there for the rest of the day.
+unblurryface punk just don't see what reason he would ever be considered a douche. after putting one of the best shows I've seen, he was so humble and didn't want to leave until he met with everyone. mad respect for the guy. not douchey in the slightest.
+Gage O'gorman her full name is going to be Emarosa Matri Clark and we are gonna call her rosamay. Thought that was cool. I'm so excited for our little girl :p 3 more months. and I wish I could get a fox xD
Billy lockwood yes i sure did! emarosa matri clark. 7 months old as of the 3rd of march! she was born july 30th but the whole 28 days in febuary thing... lol. shes the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on.
+Chelsey Petro I highly recommend "A Hundred Crowns" off of their last album. I also strongly recommend their first 2 albums. The sound is a lot different in those than in this song, but the vocals are just as amazing (in an albeit different way). The band really knows how to play to bring out the best of their vocalist.
THIS IS IT. I HOPE THE REST OF THE ALBUM HAS THIS VIBE! I know many will disagree but I have a feeling this will be the album that will fit Bradley's vocal style the best. Versus used all the reverbed drums and guitar delay effects like the self-titled but to me it was just an introduction of Bradley with the style of Emarosa at the time. I have a feeling that this style(less Overdrive and more funky riffs) will make this truly Bradley's Emarosa. Kind of like how the self-titled was an album that fit Johnny's vocal style the most.
I love the way the lyrics could mean two different things "If you can't hold your head up why should I? Watch you walk away from a good life." or "If you can't hold your head up, why should I watch you walk away from a good life?" So cool.
At 0:37, the lyrics "I will be" is sung with the exact same notes and structure (just one semi-tone higher) of the "I will be" in the Emarosa song "Live It.Love It.Lust It.".
This is SO solid, I just can't believe these guys are always getting better!! This feels so much fresh and mature, better than anything I've ever heard from Emarosa.
Didn't know they left rise but regardless, their sound is still incredible. Pumped for the new album. Also heard Connor from ex being as an ocean tracked drums. He's a boss.
I wouldn't necessarily say "more alive". The last album was JUMPIN. It was bright and really screamed, but felt like nothing really had enough of it's own space. I felt it difficult to make out certain sections of guitar/vocals. Seems like the mix mellowed out a bit more this go 'round.
Sounds SOOO much better than the last album! I've been praying for the return to the old Emarosa music style and this is definitely a step closer! This definitely put you guys back on my radar.
Emarosa never fails to disappoint, regardless of singer. Been following them since Corsets are Cages days back in 05/06 and still love all their new stuff : )
This song totally has my interest in this band. was an Emarosa fan back when Chris was the singer, and love LMTF to death. I liked a couple of songs with Jonny, but I think this guy is going to take the band further than anyone else will. Edit in 2022: Peach Club is one of my highest streamed albums on Spotify. ABSOLUTE SUCCULANT RECORD. Edit in 2024: Singer is a scumbag and EJ fired the rest of the band. I take back everything I said above.
+Kreighton Milks If you didnt already know his names Bradley Walden. So good, if you havent already check out Versus. Seems like this album has taken a different approach but still gonna sound crazy good.
I would like to know what other people think he is better at than jonny? Other than liking his personality more or something along those lines which is completely ok. But from a muscitian standpoint, such as myself, i know for a fact that this guy ain't got shit on jonny, musicaly speaking.
Loving the new material. I think it's hard to compare the two vocalists of this band. I kinda separate the two and appreciate the highs and lows from both. I'm so glad Emarosa is still making music and I enjoying it. Stoked for the coming album.
When a lot of people comment shit on both the ex-vocalist and current vocalist, ignoring their two very different styles of writing and singing. In my opinion (which the internet doesn't fucking care about anyways), both have a certain level of individuality and genuineness that captivates people. Jonny had a more heavy influence on the band, using his amazing vibratto and unique vocal range to sing and express his art, on the other hand, Bradley uses his high falsetto and his emotive vocals to express his songs. Both of them, in my opinion, are great musicians worthy of praise. I started listening to this band when Relativity came out, the whole album of Relativity brings back such nostalgia, and listening to the rawness of Jonny Craig's voice gives me goose bumps. When I first heard Jonny Craig quit, I was certain the band would be trash, but when Bradley showed up and they created Versus, it had a much different feel than Craig's two albums, a very crisp, new start for Emarosa. Everyone is entitled to their opinion in who sings better or who has better personality, etc. But remember that these two vocalists have very different styles of singing, and if you look at it from a different perspective, maybe you would appreciate the work and effort both put into their music.
People are persecuting those of us who like Bradley Walden. I'm not ashamed to admit that I first discovered Emarosa from Versus, and prefer his style over Jonny Craig's.
+Eyker Cruz no way. His cadence is far weaker. He goes between two tones. His range is inferior. He has a less deep voice than Jonny and Jonny still hits those higher notes just didnt really in Emarosa because it wasn't th right feel but theres plenty of other content where he does. It felt structured around Jonny's voice where this feels like something I've heard 100 times already. I don't hate bradley but more people like this because its more generic, which was obvious the second I heard their first song with him. Bradley is definitely the weaker performer but that doesn't mean the music he makes cant be more or just as enjoyable, to me it just isnt because it sounds like they are just taking bits and pieces of whats popular and mashing it together in te same watered down type of rock music ive heard on the radio for over 2 decades now. I like old emarosa because its unique, impactful, open to personal interpretation, and was not only about relationships like the new stuff.
+Eyker Cruz Completely disagree, I find their older style much better; it has nothing to do with nostalgia. I still listen to Relativity and Self-title (and even This Is Your Way Out) all the time, which is something I can't say for Versus. I really liked Mad, but the rest of the album is not my cup of tea. While I wouldn't consider this better than their older music, this is a very good song for the most part; just no where near their old music vocally and instrumentally.
As someone who loves slam and brutal death metal, this shit is a really impressive change of pace. True artistic integrity without gutterals or distortion - I love it.
Saw them live with Pierce the Veil a while back, didn’t even know who they were and didn’t even like their sound but now that I came back and listened to them again... I love it haha
Ive been too distracted with kpop that i forgot how much i actually love this genre of music 😍 but i never stopped listening to bands especially pierce the veil
Christian Huerta Do You Know Exactly What Style ? Because The Colors Are Different Between The One With The Grip Sole &The One Without It &The Ones Without The Sole Have Spots On The Outsole/Heel &The Ones In The Video Are A Solid Black All Over
I got into Emarosa when Jonny Craig was the frontman and was bummed when he got kicked out. I gotta admit, I was skeptical of Bradley at first, but after seeing his own take on the "Jonny-Craig-Emarosa" songs, he has won me over. I won't be surprised if he takes this band further than what the previous vocalists have done.
I have loved and hated so many bands in my youth. now at 30 I still appreciate good vocals. so I have to say he is a great vocalist. I do love mr. craig but this dude has gotten my 3 1/2 year old to sing and hold his vocal. so KUDDOS!
Honestly, a part of me is hurt that they left Rise without making it known to all of us. Don't get me wrong, I like this new song, I love the direction and I love that Emarosa is evolving with their music. Emarosa has been my favorite band for a while, which is what bothered me about Rise. I loved Rise, keyword being 'loved', I'm only stoked for some the new releases from DGD on Rise. But for the most part I've noticed that music there has been watered down and made to appeal for the 'younger and hipper' generations, when it was all about independence, at least thats how I saw it, and that may have also been the choice of the bands on that label. Alright, yeah, I get it I'm straying from the main point that I wanted to make. Rise hasn't been giving enough love to Emarosa as I've noticed that they weren't being showed off enough. Maybe that was part of their contract, but that made me mad. Regardless, Emarosa, welcome to the Hopeless family, I hope they treat you well and give you the love that you deserve! I'm looking forward to 131! :)
Got the hard copy of this album yesterday and got it signed at warped tour. They put on an amazing show. I miss the Emarosa from "this is your way out," this isn't the same :( still pretty dope though, they're still great live
This song helped me remember how much I love Emarosa. SO excited for the new album.
When i first started jamming this song, i was in the one car garage. Now, years later Im calling from cloud 9 still roaming this earth. Fantastic artist through and through.
loving the new song Bradley has such an amazing voice
same
+unblurryface punk Great voice, but a douche, as per usual it seems.
+Matt Olson lmfao, how? met him in Florida last year and he was the nicest guy to everyone at the meet and greet. hopped right off the stage and led everyone to the merch tent and stayed there for the rest of the day.
+sxppuku maybe he wasn't in the mood that day lol.
+unblurryface punk just don't see what reason he would ever be considered a douche. after putting one of the best shows I've seen, he was so humble and didn't want to leave until he met with everyone. mad respect for the guy. not douchey in the slightest.
My wife is pregnant and We are naming our daughter Emarosa. THATS how big of a fan I am. Haha.
+Travis Clark Beautiful name for her. Im going to name a pet fox Versus lmao
+Gage O'gorman her full name is going to be Emarosa Matri Clark and we are gonna call her rosamay. Thought that was cool. I'm so excited for our little girl :p 3 more months. and I wish I could get a fox xD
+Travis Clark Sounds like the best name ever tho
so did you call her Emarosa?
Billy lockwood yes i sure did! emarosa matri clark. 7 months old as of the 3rd of march! she was born july 30th but the whole 28 days in febuary thing... lol. shes the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on.
This is the only song I've heard by this band and I'm already waiting for the album release.
Def should get intoem
+Chelsey Petro I highly recommend "A Hundred Crowns" off of their last album.
I also strongly recommend their first 2 albums. The sound is a lot different in those than in this song, but the vocals are just as amazing (in an albeit different way).
The band really knows how to play to bring out the best of their vocalist.
I'll just listen to whatever I can find and decide what I like and don't like by thanks for the recommendations.
*but
+Ø Aren't you just a ray of sunshine.😒
This is one of them ones you can just put on repeat for hours sooooo good!
Since Jonny left I've struggled to enjoy Emarosa, but this sounds like the direction they need to go, very good :D
Great song! Great video! Great band! 100/10! Damn, Bradley is killing it with Emarosa.
RIP Kaitlyn, thank you for showing me this song… it won’t sound the same anymore.
Freaking love the physical embodiment of emotion Bradley gives in this video!
Anyone else feel exhausted when they watch Bradley perform? Don't know how he does it.
He's incredible.
So good. They've came a long way.
I was not aware that Emarosa left Rise. This is a newish sound for them.
+Th3Burn1nator It was so quiet till I didn't know too. But still sounds good!!
the quality suddenly increased when they left that shitty lable
Lol, I didn't either.
+Th3Burn1nator I wasn't aware either
+Th3Burn1nator same for sws
I love the way the lyrics could mean two different things "If you can't hold your head up why should I? Watch you walk away from a good life." or "If you can't hold your head up, why should I watch you walk away from a good life?" So cool.

Ok
This is SO solid, I just can't believe these guys are always getting better!! This feels so much fresh and mature, better than anything I've ever heard from Emarosa.
Dude, i love this song, it grips my throat... After what i've gone through today i can relate completely...
Girl, i am calling you from Cloud 9 :(
This song came up on my Spotify Playlist, I can't stop listening to it lol. This guy has a dope style 🤘🏻 need me a pair of those boots!
I didn't even know they changed labels or had a new album coming out. Glad this was recommended to me!
Here in 2024 melting from how handsome he is & his voice 🤍
It's cute the way he swings his arms. And this whole album is so solid.
Didn't know they left rise but regardless, their sound is still incredible. Pumped for the new album. Also heard Connor from ex being as an ocean tracked drums. He's a boss.
Sure did. Dudes a beast.
this is good. the mix feels more alive than the last album.
I wouldn't necessarily say "more alive". The last album was JUMPIN. It was bright and really screamed, but felt like nothing really had enough of it's own space. I felt it difficult to make out certain sections of guitar/vocals. Seems like the mix mellowed out a bit more this go 'round.
+Tyler Abrahamson *its. couldn't leave that grammar sin unchecked lol
+Tyler Abrahamson i'm pretty late but yeah you worded it better.
But it's still a bit bassless in my opinion, or is my perception incorrect?
Not sure what you are listening to music on. Bass seems fine.
Didn't even know you guys left Rise
But loved the song and the video. Psyched for the album.
Fav song by Emarosa. 131 is the best album of 2016. Obsessed with Bradleys vocals.
Had this song on repeat constantly love it Bradley's voice is amazing can't wait for 131 haven't been this excited for a new album in forever
Sounds SOOO much better than the last album! I've been praying for the return to the old Emarosa music style and this is definitely a step closer! This definitely put you guys back on my radar.
not even close...
It sounds more like fall out boy than old emarosa tbh
+SteveOTheMan16 It's a decent song, but this is nothing like old Emarosa. It's even further from their older sound(s) than their last album was.
***** Old Emarosa will always be their best. I'm hearing this more in line with their self titled album choruses and drumming wise
Emarosa never fails to disappoint, regardless of singer. Been following them since Corsets are Cages days back in 05/06 and still love all their new stuff : )
The more I listen to this the more it really grows on me. At first I was wowed by the video concept. im deff pumped for the whole album
This song totally has my interest in this band. was an Emarosa fan back when Chris was the singer, and love LMTF to death. I liked a couple of songs with Jonny, but I think this guy is going to take the band further than anyone else will.

Edit in 2024: Singer is a scumbag and EJ fired the rest of the band. I take back everything I said above.
Agreed
+Kreighton Milks "this guy" has a name, and this is the second album hes been the front man on. Late to the party are we?
Matt Olson Yes, I know this is his second album. Dick.
+Kreighton Milks If you didnt already know his names Bradley Walden. So good, if you havent already check out Versus. Seems like this album has taken a different approach but still gonna sound crazy good.
Aaron Mercer I bought a couple songs from Versus. I kind of forgot about that album. Definitely won't make that mistake again.
Newer sound AND left rise.... I LOVE IT.
I've watched this video so many times and still crack up when he stares at the guy with the camera 2:23
thank god for a new album!!! it feels like forever
This track still slaps. 9/10 will probably say it will always slap
I met Bradley at Warped last year! he's an awesome guy very talented. He's definitely right next to Jonny if not better in his own way. my opinion
I would like to know what other people think he is better at than jonny? Other than liking his personality more or something along those lines which is completely ok. But from a muscitian standpoint, such as myself, i know for a fact that this guy ain't got shit on jonny, musicaly speaking.
They're back! Bradley is always killin it
Bradley your singing is way too awesome. I love it.
I'm totally okay with the new sound. I'm glad you guys left rise.
Always remember to drink your coffee in the morning kids.
there is the lesson
Loving the new material. I think it's hard to compare the two vocalists of this band. I kinda separate the two and appreciate the highs and lows from both. I'm so glad Emarosa is still making music and I enjoying it. Stoked for the coming album.
Literally only just heard this and I'm obsessed 😻😩
Me too! Pandora kinda made me listen to this song, but it's amazing so I'm totally okay with it.

Did a little dance when I realized they actually filmed this one in Lexington..can't wait to hear the rest of the album dudes!
Just finished seeing Emarosa at Burl tonight and they put one heck of show complete with crowd surfing and everything can't wait to see them next year
I've listened to this song 12 times in a row... damn.
People are persecuting those of us who like Bradley Walden. I'm not ashamed to admit that I first discovered Emarosa from Versus, and prefer his style over Jonny Craig's.

+Witness Me this is the greatest comment ever man i totally agree with you

I completely agree. This isn't bad, but it doesn't hold a candle to the old albums with Jonny or the one with Chris.
As someone who loves slam and brutal death metal, this shit is a really impressive change of pace. True artistic integrity without gutterals or distortion - I love it.
Anyone else dying for a Hands Like Houses/ Emarosa tour?
Douglas Wears Happened this year.
I can relate to this song in so many aspects of my life omg
amazing amazing amazing!!! bradley has never fucking disappointed the second he joined the band he honestly made Emarosa, Emarosa
Inception! Welcome back Em, missed you while you were away!

I had lost hope with Emarosa but man, this song is amazing

Ulysses Lopez red wing iron ranger in black. Pretty expensive lol
Christian Huerta OMFG !!! Yes !!!

I Don't Care About The $350 Price Tag, I'll Still Buy Them
I Love Shoes !!!

Christian Huerta Do You Know Exactly What Style ?
Because The Colors Are Different Between The One With The Grip Sole &The One Without It
&The Ones Without The Sole Have Spots On The Outsole/Heel &The Ones In The Video Are A Solid Black All Over
Ulysses Lopez I'm not sure, I'm in the process of buying me a pair, alls I know is that the soles are replaceable.
Christian Huerta Can I Get Them Custom Made By Red Wing ? Or Do I Have To Go Somewhere Else To Do That ?
I got into Emarosa when Jonny Craig was the frontman and was bummed when he got kicked out. I gotta admit, I was skeptical of Bradley at first, but after seeing his own take on the "Jonny-Craig-Emarosa" songs, he has won me over. can't wait to see you guys in Austin.

I have loved and hated so many bands in my youth. now at 30 I still appreciate good vocals. so I have to say he is a great vocalist. I do love mr. craig but this dude has gotten my 3 1/2 year old to sing and hold his vocal. so KUDDOS!
Cant wait to see you guys again!!!
EMAROSA IS BACK 😍😍😍
album drops on my birthday aye
glad to know Emarosa had a couple gems past the self-titled, A Hundred Crowns is also tight
going strong yesss!!!!
is it just me or does 2:52 sound just like a cross of NTFP and All We Have by Anberlin (RIP)?
There's definitely a similarity in the vocal delivery of the chorus on this song and that of NTFP. That's about it though.
+Jacob Dadisman
RIP
To stoked for the new album! Letlive and Emarosa new albums in the same year. Not sure how to handle this! Lol
I'm so in love with this band.. I got a fox tattooed on my arm because of this band 😂😂
Im in loooove
Great song. Looking forward to pay day so I can pre-order!
Emarosa for Worlds
Tô viciado nessa música mano, logo eu que pensava que não ia curtir mais Emarosa sem o bom e velho Jonny Craig.
this song is fire!!!
I love it! you guys are amazing and I can't wait to see you guys at warped! 😄😄💕
well done.... bien hecho. .. se están superando!!!!
YES!!! i was just wondering today if they were making some new stuff :)
Quarantine brought me back here 4 years later. 2020 anyone?
Got the hard copy of this album yesterday and got it signed at warped tour. They put on an amazing show. I miss the Emarosa from "this is your way out," this isn't the same :( still pretty dope though, they're still great live
This is incredible, SUCH A GOOD PICK ON ARTISTS :D
them, Jamies elsewhere, Saosin, And we are fiction. love it
This was a hell of a trip
can't wait for the album :))
I love Johnny and Bradley, why can't we just have a monstrous vocal super-band, dammit.
